A formal plan for targeting America was devised three years after the Iranian revolution in 1982. U.S. Intel: Iran Plans Nuclear Strike on U.S.

Iran has carried out missile tests for what could be a
plan for a nuclear strike on the United States, the head
of a national security panel has warned. In testimony
before the House Armed Services Committee and in
remarks to a private conference on missile defense over
the weekend hosted by the Claremont Institute, Dr.
William Graham warned that the U.S. intelligence
community “doesn’t have a story” to explain the recent
Iranian tests. One group of tests that troubled Graham,
the former White House science adviser under President
Ronald Reagan, were successful efforts to launch a Scud
missile from a platform in the Caspian Sea. “They’ve got
[test] ranges in Iran which are more than long enough to
handle Scud launches and even Shahab-3 launches,” Dr.
Graham said. “Why would they be launching from the
surface of the Caspian Sea? They obviously have not
explained that to us.” Another troubling group of tests
involved Shahab-3 launches where the Iranians "detonated
the warhead near apogee, not over the target area where
the thing would eventually land, but at altitude,” Graham
said. “Why would they do that?” Graham chairs the
Commission to Assess the Threat to the United States from
Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack, a blue-ribbon panel
established by Congress in 2001. The commission examined
the Iranian tests “and without too much effort connected the
dots,” even though the U.S. intelligence community previously
had failed to do so, Graham said. “The only plausible
explanation we can find is that the Iranians are figuring out
how to launch a missile from a ship and get it up to altitude and
then detonate it,” he said. “And that’s exactly what you would
do if you had a nuclear weapon on a Scud or a Shahab-3 or other
missile, and you wanted to explode it over the United States.”
The commission warned in a report issued in April that the
United States was at risk of a sneak nuclear attack by a rogue
nation or a terrorist group designed to take out our nation’s
critical infrastructure. "If even a crude nuclear weapon were
detonated anywhere between 40 kilometers to 400 kilometers
above the earth, in a split-second it would generate an electro-
magnetic pulse [EMP] that would cripple military and civilian
communications, power, transportation, water, food, and other
infrastructure," the report warned. While not causing
immediate civilian casualties, the near-term impact on U.S.
society would dwarf the damage of a direct nuclear strike on a
U.S. city. “The first indication [of such an attack] would be that
the power would go out, and some, but not all, the
telecommunications would go out. We would not physically feel
anything in our bodies,” Graham said. As electric power, water
and gas delivery systems failed, there would be “truly massive
traffic jams,” Graham added, since modern automobiles and
signaling systems all depend on sophisticated electronics that
would be disabled by the EMP wave. “So you would be
walking. You wouldn’t be driving at that point,” Graham said.
“And it wouldn’t do any good to call the maintenance or repair
people because they wouldn’t be able to get there, even if you
could get through to them.” The food distribution system also
would grind to a halt as cold-storage warehouses stockpiling
perishables went offline. Even warehouses equipped with
backup diesel generators would fail, because “we wouldn’t be
able to pump the fuel into the trucks and get the trucks to the
warehouses,” Graham said. The United States “would quickly
revert to an early 19th century type of country.” except that
we would have 10 times as many people with ten times fewer
resources, he said. “Most of the things we depend upon would
be gone, and we would literally be depending on our own assets
and those we could reach by walking to them,” Graham said.
America would begin to resemble the 2002 TV series,
“Jeremiah,” which depicts a world bereft of law, infrastructure,
and memory. In the TV series, an unspecified virus wipes out
the entire adult population of the planet. In an EMP attack, the
casualties would be caused by our almost total dependence on
technology for everything from food and water, to hospital care.
Within a week or two of the attack, people would start dying,
Graham says. “People in hospitals would be dying faster than
that, because they depend on power to stay alive. But then it
would go to water, food, civil authority, emergency services.
And we would end up with a country with many, many people
not surviving the event.” Asked just how many Americans
would die if Iran were to launch the EMP attack it appears to
be preparing, Graham gave a chilling reply. “You have to go
back into the 1800s to look at the size of population” that could
survive in a nation deprived of mechanized agriculture,
transportation, power, water, and communication. “I’d have
to say that 70 to 90 percent of the population would not be
sustainable after this kind of attack,” he said. America
would be reduced to a core of around 30 million people —
about the number that existed in the decades after America’s
independence from Great Britain. The modern electronic
economy would shut down, and America would most likely
revert to “an earlier economy based on barter,” the EMP
commission’s report on Critical National Infrastructure
concluded earlier this year. In his recent congressional
testimony, Graham revealed that Iranian military journals,
translated by the CIA at his commission’s request, “explicitly
discuss a nuclear EMP attack that would gravely harm the
United States.” Furthermore, if Iran launched its attack from
a cargo ship plying the commercial sea lanes off the East coast
— a scenario that appears to have been tested during the
Caspian Sea tests — U.S. investigators might never determine
who was behind the attack. Because of the limits of nuclear
forensic technology, it could take months. And to disguise
their traces, the Iranians could simply decide to sink the ship
that had been used to launch it, Graham said. Several
participants in last weekend’s conference in Dearborn, Mich.,
hosted by the conservative Claremont Institute argued that
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was thinking about
an EMP attack when he opined that “a world without America
is conceivable.” In May 2007, then Undersecretary of State
John Rood told Congress that the U.S. intelligence community
estimates that Iran could develop an ICBM capable of hitting
the continental United States by 2015. But Iran could put a
Scud missile on board a cargo ship and launch from the
commercial sea lanes off America’s coasts well before then.
The only thing Iran is lacking for an effective EMP attack is a
nuclear warhead, and no one knows with any certainty when
that will occur. The latest U.S. intelligence estimate states that
Iran could acquire the fissile material for a nuclear weapon
as early as 2009, or as late as 2015, or possibly later. Secretary
of Defense Donald Rumsfeld first detailed the “Scud-in-a-bucket”
threat during a briefing in Huntsville, Ala., on Aug. 18, 2004.
While not explicitly naming Iran, Rumsfeld revealed that “one
of the nations in the Middle East had launched a ballistic
missile from a cargo vessel. They had taken a short-range,
probably Scud missile, put it on a transporter-erector launcher,
lowered it in, taken the vessel out into the water, peeled back the
top, erected it, fired it, lowered it, and covered it up. And the ship
that they used was using a radar and electronic equipment that
was no different than 50, 60, 100 other ships operating in the
immediate area.” Iran’s first test of a ship-launched Scud missile
occurred in spring 1998, and was mentioned several months later
in veiled terms by the Commission to Assess the Ballistic Missile
Threat to the United States, a blue-ribbon panel also known as
the Rumsfeld Commission. I was the first reporter to mention the
Iran sea-launched missile test in an article appearing in the
Washington Times in May 1999. Intelligence reports on the
launch were “well known to the White House but have not been
disseminated to the appropriate congressional committees,” I
wrote. Such a missile “could be used in a devastating stealth
attack against the United States or Israel for which the United
States has no known or planned defense.” Few experts believe
that Iran can be deterred from launching such an attack by the
threat of massive retaliation against Iran. They point to a
December 2001 statement by former Iranian President Ali
Akbar Hashemi- Rafsanjani, who mulled the possibility of
Israeli retaliation after an Iranian nuclear strike. “The use of
an atomic bomb against Israel would destroy Israel completely,
while [the same] against the Islamic only would cause damages.
Such a scenario is not inconceivable,” Rafsanjani said at the time.
Rep. Trent Franks, R, Ariz., plans to introduce legislation next
week that would require the Pentagon to lay the groundwork
for an eventual military strike against Iran, to prevent Iran
from acquiring nuclear weapons and EMP capability. “An EMP
attack on America would send us back to the horse and buggy
era — without the horse and buggy,” he told the Claremont
Institute conference on Saturday. “If you’re a terrorist, this is
your ultimate goal, your ultimate asymmetric weapon.” Noting
Iran’s recent sea-launched and mid-flight warhead detonation
tests, Rep. Franks concluded, “They could do it — either
directly or anonymously by putting some freighter out there
on the ocean.” The only possible deterrent against Iran
is the prospect of failure, Dr. Graham and other experts
agreed. And the only way the United States could credibly
threaten an Iranian missile strike would be to deploy effective
national missile defenses. “It’s well known that people don’t
go on a diet until they’ve had a heart attack,” said Claremont
Institute president Brian T. Kennedy. “And we as a nation
are having a heart attack” when it comes to the threat of an
EMP attack from Iran. “As of today, we have no defense
against such an attack. We need space -based missile
defenses to protect against an EMP attack,” he told Newsmax.
Rep. Franks said he remains surprised at how partisan
the subject of space-based missile defenses remain. “Nuclear
missiles don’t discriminate on party lines when they land,
” he said. Arizona Republican Sen. Jon Kyl, a long-standing
champion of missile defense, told the Claremont conference
on Friday that Sen. Obama has opposed missile defense tooth
and nail and as president would cut funding for these programs
dramatically. “Senator Obama has been quoted as saying, ‘I
don’t agree with a missile defense system,’ and that we can
cut $10 billion of the research out — never mind, as I say,
that the entire budget is $9.6 billion, or $9.3 billion,” Kyl
said. Like Franks, Kyl believes that the only way to
eventually deter Iran from launching an EMP attack on the
United States is to deploy robust missile defense systems,
including space-based interceptors. The United States “needs
a missile defense that is so strong, in all the different phases
we need to defend against . . . that countries will decide it’s not
worth coming up against us,” Kyl said. “That’s one of the things
that defeated the Soviet Union. That’s one of the ways we can
deal with these rogue states . . . and also the way that we can
keep countries that are not enemies today, but are potential
enemies, from developing capabilities to challenge us. “

The Fairness Doctrine

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin has sent a letter
to House Minority Leader John Boehner
expressing his strenuous opposition to the
reinstatement of the so-called Fairness Doctrine.
The Fairness Doctrine for you who don't know
what it is all about was first implemented in 1949.
It said that radio stations, and later TV stations as
well had to give equal time to opposing viewpoints
on controversial subjects. The FCC repealed the
Doctrine in 1987. This is when talk show hosts
like Rush Limbaugh came into peoples lives.

In his letter, Martin stated, “I have always been,
and remain strongly, opposed to the Fairness
Doctrine. I am on record as supporting legislation
that would have prohibited the FCC from reinstating
the Fairness Doctrine.” Martin referred to a letter
he sent to several members of Congress last year
that read in part, “I see no compelling reason to
reinstate the Fairness Doctrine in today’s broadcast
environment, and believe that such a step would
inhibit the robust discussion of issues of public
concern over the nation’s airwaves.”
Opponents of the Fairness Doctrine say that if it
were reinstated, stations that air conservative
viewpoints would have to give free air time to
liberals. As a result, many stations might choose
not to air the conservative talkers.

Problem here folks is that there has been growing
speculation on Capitol Hill that Democrats will seek
to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine under the guise
that conservative talk radio is disproportionately
dominating American radio. So in other words,
they (the democrats) want the people who are
standing up for America and the rights of the
people to know the truth about what is really
going on in this country, and continually provide
valuable information on the corruption that is a
foot in Washington silenced. The democrats do
NOT want you to know the truth, they want you
to only know what they tell you, say something
along the lines of what Hitler did to eliminate the
press and any freedoms of speech in Nazi Germany.
The people heard only what Hitler wanted them to
hear from his propaganda machine. Shall we call it
modern day Gestapo tactics, or is that label better
left for the I.R.S., or are they just all one in the same.

Martin also wrote that the FCC was considering
the use of local advisory boards to ensure that
broadcasters are fulfilling their obligation to serve
their local communities, but stressed that these
boards “would not regulate the content of the
broadcasters’ programming.” He concluded in
his letter to the Ohio Republican: “I appreciate
your interest in this matter and reiterate that I
share your concern that the Fairness Doctrine
not be reinstated.
One thing is clear: If the Democrats win theWhite
House, expect an all-out attack on talk radio.
Political talk, as we know it, could end. If they win,
Rush, Imus, Savage, Beck, and dozens of other
major hosts will be muzzled by using federal
regulations to control political talk. Leading liberals
in Congress, the Democratic presidential candidates,
and even some Republicans speak openly of their
plans to end conservative talk radio using federal
regulations. Their weapon: a revived Fairness
Doctrine, which would once again require stations
to air divergent points of view, a clever ruse that
makes station owners leery of airing controversial
talk-radio hosts fearing law suits and federal sanctions.
With a new Fairness Doctrine, you could see many top
conservative radio hosts canned.

People, we are guaranteed the right to free speech
in this country by the Constitution, and no liberal
hack has any business trying to take that away.
These politicians are picking and chipping away at
the Constitution everyday and trying to put you
in a socialistic environment where the government
controls your lives and your every movement.
Think about that today as you get up and leave
your own house, while driving your own car, and
going to your own job, wearing your own clothes,
and taking out your wallet to buy your own lunch
with your own money, or at least what is left after
you give the government close to 55% of what you
made last year, and then going home to your own
family, and watching your own TV and playing on
your own computer, or your own Xbox, or picking
a movie out of your own movie collection....do I
need to go on?? People are taking all these things
for granted, and there are those who believe that
the government would give them all these things
if they took over complete control, and took from
those who have worked to earn a life and gave to
those who have not. That's what the Germans
thought when they elected Hitler into power, and
once he had power, no one was safe, no one! I still
have nightmarish visions from documentrys I have
watched of people carrying a suitcase with
everything they owned onto boxcars to be trans-
ported to concentration camps to their ultimate
rewards of slave labor and death. Families never
to see each other again in this world, starved,
beaten, torchered, dismembered......murdered.

After 143 Days of Experience, Obama Wants To Be President

Barack Obama has had exactly 143 days of experience
in the U.S. Senate before setting his sights on becoming
President. He was sworn in as a senator on Jan. 4,
2005, and he announced that he was forming a
committee to look into running for president on Jan. 16,
2007. In that interval, the Senate was in session and
working for 143 days, the equivalent of less than 21
seven-day weeks. So, after 143 days of work
experience, that's just over 1/3 of a year, Obama in
his mind was ready to be the leader of the free world
like others before him such as Abraham Lincoln, FDR,
JFK and Ronald Reagan. My oh my, where do I sign
up to vote for this remarkable man of such great
experience!! What I find ironic is that the Clintons
never saw this coming. They never would have
believed for one second that this guy even had the
slightest chance of beating Hillary out of the election.
Just when they thought they were going to be back in
power, this guy steps up and it was all over!!
Ok, now,John McCain has had a total of 26 years in
Congress and 22 years of military service, at the very
least he has experience behind him. I may not see
McCain as the ideal candidate, but I can't even see
Obama being in charge of the local animal shelter. What
experience does this man actually have that would give
him the ability to run this country, and where is he going
to be when we are facing a full on attack by those are
seeking to destroy us at this very minute?? Why his
experience says that he should dis-arm us so that we
are sitting ducks and that we should talk to those who
want to destroy us and talk them out of wanting to
destroy us, because these are rational, understanding
people, and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah!!!!
In other words folks, bend over and kiss your butts

The Sound of Music

I went to a performance last night of The Sound of Music. It has been several years since I had last seen this production, and as I watched I realized how significant this performance was. I first saw the Sound of Music in a theater as a young boy, young enough that my parents had to explain to me what the Germans were doing and why these people had to leave their home and flee for their lives. It was at that time that playing war with my friends, or just playing war with my army men in the backyard gained a whole new light. I now despised the Germans and what they were and what they had stood for. I did like their helmets, but nothing else caught my eye. These were destructive self righteous people who were looking to exterminate everyone but themselves who they labeled as the "perfect race." As I sat and watched the production last night I wondered how many people sitting in the audience even remotely had a clue as to what was going on up there on stage. Even though this was only a play for the enjoyment of the crowd, not only was it a true story, but it was full of meaning and warnings to everyone watching that you are in as much danger now as those who were mascaraed by the Nazi regime. I here players on the stage comment that such a thing could never happen in their country, that the Nazis were willing to let Austria slide and not be harmed, that going along with the Nazis was the best thing they could do in order to protect themselves, all but Captain Von Trapp, who refused to become a part of a murderous machine that was there to eliminate and destroy everything in its path. He knew what these people were up to, and he was not going to become a part of it, he was willing to fight, to speak out against the Nazi's, to die for what he believed in if necessary. So, what about you??? Are you willing to just sit back and allow yourselves to become captive, and everything you have taken away from you, even murdered and destroyed? Are you willing to let the Nazi's of today take away your freedom, your family, life as you know it and order you to live under socialist law, or communist law, or worse not live at all, but be shot or hung. Are you ready to be overrun by those who seek to destroy you in the name of Allah? As I watched the players enter the stage wearing Nazi uniforms, and nasty, self righteous pompous attitudes, and then the Nazi flags that appeared from the ceiling, it made my skin crawl and the anger inside me started to surface. I must give the players of the performance an A+ for had they not been doing their job so well on stage, I would have left not hating their guts. I would recommend that you rent or buy the Sound of Music, Schindler's List, Cabaret and sit down in front of your TV and watch them and see if the presence of even as much as a Nazi flag doesn't send terror through your soul, and heighten your senses to what you could be facing. America is no longer safe, it is not safe from outside threats, nor is it safe from those who have snuck in and are waiting to pounce, or even the leaders with dreams of grandeur within. America, it is time to wake up and fight back. Time is of the essence, and it is quickly ticking away. We have taken America for granted and she has fallen to her knees. It is time we take her by the hand, lift her up and help her to stand tall against the political and judicial corruption, the lust for power and money, and against those who would plot to overtake her. America has always been the greatest place in the world, and I for one, do not want that to change.... how about you?????

I'm sorry I have not posted anything the past week, but
I have been working out of state and just have not had
the time to sit down and add anything here. I have a
short video I want to post here today that I have seen
many times, and it always generates the same emotions
everytime I see it. I watch it when I am feeling down or
depressed and finding the world is closing in on me, and
it helps to lift my awareness that I really don't have it all
that bad, and that I need to press forward and fight to do
those things I need to get done. Take the time to watch it
and remember it is here the next time you feel that your
life is so overwhelming and you need a little extra help to
get through your day. It is not political, it is not about petty
differneces, or the price of gasoline. It is about a father and
a son, and the fathers love and dedication to a young man
who if not for his fathers unconditional love, would not have
much of a life at all. Go get the tissue box, you'll need it!!

ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car,
big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More
power to you if you can legally acquire them, but
no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be
offended. This country is based on freedom, and that
means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may
leave the room, turn the channel, express a different
opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and
probably always will be.

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free
from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye,
learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool
manufacturer to make you and all your relatives
independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food
and housing. Americans are the most charitable
people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in
need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing
generation after generation of professional couch
potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation
of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health
care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public
housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically
harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally
maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest
of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the
possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce
away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be
surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you
away in a place where you still won't have the right
to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job.
All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly
help you along in hard times, but we expect you to
take advantage of the opportunities of education and
vocational training laid before you to make yourself
useful.

ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness.
Being an American means that you have the right to
PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if
you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic
laws created by those of you who were confused by the
Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country. We
don't care where you are from, English is our language.
Learn it or go back to wherever you came from!

ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our
country's history or heritage. This country was founded
on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the
freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith
at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD
WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if
you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!!!!

Poem: "First They Came....."

This is a poem that I remember reading in my
younger days, and it impacted me so much, that
I have always remembered it, and been mindfull
of its meaning. May this poem always remain in
the back of your mind, always remembering that
it can happen to you!


First they came…" is a poem attributed to Pastor
Martin Niemoller (1892–1984) about the inactivity
of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to
power and the purging of their chosen targets,
group after group.



When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent; I was not a communist.
When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent; I was not a social democrat.
When they came for the trade unionists,

Today, as we roll into the month of July, I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all those who are responsible for the liberties and freedoms we enjoy as American citizens. Many men and women have died in the fight against those who would take our freedoms away from us, and to those who have served, whether alive or dead, I want to say THANK YOU for your willingness to stand for what you knew to be right. It saddens me to think that many people who live in this century are either unaware, or completely blind to what they have living here in the United States of America. So many take it for granted, and they feel it is someone else's responsibility to maintain the rights and privileges we have here. Too many feel it is too much of an inconvenience to take a few minutes of their day to get out and vote, or to sit down and write a letter to their representatives to let them know how they feel about an issue. The rights and privileges we enjoy came at a high price, and as the saying goes, "Freedom isn't Free". I encourage each and everyone of you, to start getting involved with the everyday workings of this country. Stop being afraid of getting involved. Stop letting the politicians push you around. Stop letting them make laws that are not in our best interest because they only heard from a handful of people telling them not to. These politicians have now got you paying over 50% of the hard earned money you make into the government coffers. They waste, they misappropriate, the misuse, steal and otherwise manipulate the system to their benefit. There are those who are trying to make a difference, but there are more that are fighting against them. Stop electing people who are not doing their job, start recalling those who are in office and are not doing what they promised. Stop allowing these same people to pollute your minds against the good people who are fighting to keep you free. No one likes war, and I like you would be happy if it was non existent, but you and I both know that as long as there are those out there who are driven by power and greed, that war in an inevitable fact. God has told us in scripture, that wars will plague the world for all time. War is something we cannot stop, sadly, but it is also something we cannot hide from. Too many people live their lives with their heads buried in the sand, and as a result, those who are trying to do right are being persecuted, and we are losing our precious rights in this country daily. The Supreme Court just struck a major victory last week when they stood up for this countries second amendment rights to keep and bear arms, but you need to look at this a little closer, as it was a 5 to 4 vote, and had that one judge voted the opposite directions, the Constitution would have taken another giant hit. 4 of the 9 judges do not follow the laws of the Constitution, but rather make up their own. Our judges are corrupt, and few understand what the Constitution stands for and what it means. Most feel it is something to be trifled with, desecrated, changed to benefit the minority instead of upholding the rights of the majority. These people need to be removed from the bench, as they have no right serving in such a capacity if they cannot, and will not uphold those laws which our founding fathers put in place to protect us from just such a caliber of people. America is the greatest country in the entire world without question, and this is why so many people are trying desperately to get in, but we also can go from being the greatest to bottom of the pile if people do not start to stand up and be counted. My father was engaged in the Korean War, and I am proud of him for his service, I don't look down on him because he had to go to war, I respect, and admire him for his call to duty. Too many service men and women are looked upon with disgust and disregard by those who would just a soon sell this country up the river into socialism or worse. We need to take our country back a few decades where the pledge of allegiance was said every morning in school, and where prayer was an everyday occurrence. To those who have fought to take God and patriotism out of our lives, I say it is time you move on. Move on to somewhere like Russia, or China, or Iraq. Move on to where you have no freedoms, and where you would be much happier under government control. Stop inflicting our society with your negative and corrupting ways, and leave us in peace to worship God and to stand in patriotic support of America in her efforts to remain the greatest nation in the world. If you are going to a 4th of July parade this year, remember to stand and pay tribute to the flag as it passes you at the beginning of the parade and pay tribute to this great country and to all those valient men and women who have fought for her.
