It has been awhile since I have posted here, not because I don't have plenty to say or have plenty of items that should be passed on, but rather because I am so busy working that I don't have the time to spend here as I would like. You see, I work 4 different jobs in order to stay afloat and keep my bills paid. That's right, 4 different jobs! I'm sure I could find an excuse to wrangle myself onto welfare, or maybe some other form of government dole-out program if I was, as so many feel that they are in this country, ENTITLED! Well, I see it differently. I see entitlement as a word that only applies to say someone who was so seriously injured that it is impossible for them to work again, or someone who lost their spouse and was left with multiple children to care for and do not have the ability or resources to accomplish this task. These are the reasons such programs as Welfare were established, not to take care of some lazy sit on their ass good for nothing, lookin for a handout, you owe me, boil on the butt of society types....and while we are on the subject of boils on the butt of society, lets turn our eyes to the White House where the biggest boil and it's companion boil reside and who have convinced so many of you that you ARE ENTITLED to what someone else has.......WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!
Let me make something very clear....I am close to 6 decades old, I have back problems, knee problems, arthritis problems as well as countless other issues to deal with. I do not have a good education and spent my entire life being self employed. When the events of the bottom dropping out of real estate hit this country, I was in a bad position and was basically wiped out. I had been smart enough to save and prepare for bad times and used those resources to keep things going until I found work. It took me over two years to find someone who was willing to put an old uneducated fool to work for $11 an hour. I took the job and because of that job I was offered another job with the willingness to work around my first job. I then found another position working for a company on commission and finally after the first job I was doing was taken over by another company, whom I continue to work for, I was offered a great position back with the first company I had been working for. All these jobs were minimal pay and the commission job was one that took a long time to get clients to commit, but guess what....a client did commit, and the other low paying jobs combined have kept the bills paid and has now led me into a better paying job. This was not because I sat on my big fat butt whining about having no money, or having to go back to work, or that someone should be taking care of me because I am old....this was because I have never felt that anyone owed me anything and therefore I don't take handouts! For those out there who feel they are entitled let me just say this....The world does NOT OWE YOU ANYTHING! If you feel it does, then pack your bags and move to Europe or somewhere that puts people like you on the public dole, let them have you cause we don't want you!! What I have, I have earned and it does not belong to you or anyone else other than my children and my grandchildren when the time comes for me to leave this world. Drag your lazy good for nothing butt out from behind the TV and get out and find a job! They're out there, they may not pay all that well and you may have to have more than one, but at least your working and will have taken the burden of one more person off the backs of the taxpayers. Maybe you should contact the White House and see if your Muslim president and his America hating wife would be willing to take you in and let you live with them until you decide your are ready to do something on your own. It seems he was all about yapping his gums and giving you free rent, gas, cars and money according to what I heard so many of you chanting after you put him in office. How's that working for you now?????? That's what I thought! I tell you what...when you get a job and you get your first paycheck and you have paid all the necessary bills you owe, then if there is anything left over, you will be entitled to spend it anyway you want! That's entitlement and it is the only entitlement anyone should be granted...PERIOD!!

When you listen to what the government did to the people in Louisiana when Hurricane Katrina hit, I hope it will help to open your eyes to what our government has become. Any one of the law enforcement or military personnel who obeyed the orders given to subject these people to imprisonment, confiscation or arrest should be dealt with in a court of law, be relieved of duty and be punished for their roll in this conspiracy. Sorry folks, it has been a couple of months since I posted here. I have been overly busy and have not had time to stay up on this blog as I should. That does not mean however that I am not paying attention and following the trends we are experiencing in America. A couple of posts back I gave you a link to an article about food pricing and I hope you read it and are paying close attention to what is happening. I am watching prices go up and up on most everything. Flour just jumped over $2.00 for 25 lbs, sugar is up, rice is really up, coffee is racing upward along with everything else. Of course, gasoline is a big part of price increases....as fuel is increasing, so are prices on the shelves.

Because our illustrious leader is hellbent on sending our fuel prices through the roof and has been keeping the drilling here in America at a standstill, we are now once again seeing an economy that was showing a small glimmer of hope make a complete U-turn and is headed back into the toilet again. It will stalemate any chance of things getting better because everyone will be spending their extra dollars on gasoline to be able to get to work and take care of their daily tasks. Yet it is a fact that the oil reserves under American soil are greater than all other nations combined and that is a hard cold fact!!

President OScrewU believes that everyone, except himself and his power hungry cronies, should cough up money to purchase a new fuel efficient vehicle that is wasting valuable resources (food) and costing more to operate than any gasoline vehicle on the road today. Regardless for most people, they either can't afford they high price tag or can't get a loan for because the hard times have destroyed their credit scores. Of course OScrewU would be just as happy that you take the bus or ride a bike to accomplish your everyday goals. Now as for OScrewU and his band of merry pillagers, they don't have to follow the rules they set down for us peasants. They don't even have to be on the mandated health care plan they have implemented, they don't have to worry about fuel efficient vehicles, they don't have to worry about where the next dollar will come from to get them from one day to the next because they are taking whatever they need from the American taxpayer and telling each and every one of us to go straight to hell if we don't like it.

I posted back in August of last year percentages that other countries are being taxed, I hope you all read it. 61% to 83% in total taxes, the results of socialistic government taking everything you earn and giving you nothing in return. Frankly, I am not interested in working for the government, giving them everything I have and allowing them to dictate to me what I can and cannot do.

On Sunday, December 19, the text of S. 510 replaced the original text of H.R. 2751, and the bill passed by voice vote. H.R. 2751, originally the Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Act, passed the House in June 2009 and was a "vehicle" for the passage of S. 510 in a House-originating bill because S. 510 was a revenue-raising bill. All revenue-raising bills must originate in the House.

Just so you understand my irritation here, this is the genuinely a vehicle the government can use to stop people from even growing their own food in their own gardens in their own friggen backyards!

Utah state Rep. Bill Wright is proposing H.B.249 a bill that would exempt his state from federal food regulations, including the recently enacted food safety bill, S-510, if the food is not sold across state lines. Within the state, it is state's rights, and Utah already has regulations over those items. Wright's bill is modeled after a Montana gun law that Utah adopted last year, which "built on the premise that if the product doesn't cross state borders, the federal government's authority to regulate interstate commerce shouldn't apply and there is no constitutional right to federal regulation."

32 (1) The state recognizes the right of an individual, without federal intervention, to grow
33 food for personal use by the individual or a member of the individuals family, on the
34 individuals property, without being subject to local, state, or federal laws, ordinances, or rules,
35 if the food:
36 (a) is legal for human consumption;
37 (b) is lawfully possessed;
38 (c) does not pose a health risk;
39 (d) does not negatively impact the rights of adjoining property owners; and
40 (e) complies with the food safety requirements of this title.
41 (2) A government entity may not confiscate food grown in accordance with this 42 section, or food stored in an individuals home or dwelling, that is legal for human consumption
43 and is lawfully possessed, unless the food poses a risk:
44 (a) to health;
45 (b) of spreading insect infestation; or

This legislation recognizes the right of an individual to grow and store food for the personal
use of the individual and the individuals family without being subject to local, state, or federal laws, ordinances, or rules. Furthermore, it provides that a government entity, not excluding Federal government entity, may confiscate that food only under certain circumstances. Even if this legislation is interpreted to be limited to wholly intrastate conduct, the United States Supreme Court has held that the United States Congress has broad power to regulate purely intrastate activity under the Commerce Clause of the United States Constitution. Gonzales v.Raich, 545 U.S. 1, 18 (2005) (“Congress can regulate purely intrastate activity . . . if it concludes that failure to regulate that class of activity would undercut the regulation of the interstate market in that commodity.”); U.S. Const. art. I, § 8, cl. 3. Moreover, even if the growing and storing of food described in this bill is not considered commercial activity, the Supreme Court has held that Congress may regulate intrastate activity if it substantially affects interstate commerce. United States v. Lopez, 514 U.S. 549, 559 (1995). Indeed, the regulation of agricultural commodities is a fundamental example of what Congress may regulate under the Commerce Clause. Wickard v. Filburn, 317 U.S. 111, 125 (1942) (holding that Congress may regulate wholly intrastate conduct_even the growing of wheat for consumption only by the grower_if “it exerts a substantial economic effect on interstate commerce.”). Furthermore, the Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution declares the laws of the United States to be the supreme law of the land. U.S. Const. art. VI, cl. 2. The Supreme Court has interpreted this to mean, for example, that a federal regulation properly adopted under federal law preempts state law that conflicts with the federal regulation. Fry v. United States,421 U.S. 542, 547-48 (1975). Based on this authority, there is a high probability that a court would find that this legislation unconstitutional in that it violates the Supremacy Clause by limiting the permissible exercise of Congress's authority under the Commerce Clause.

Since Obama assumed the office of President, critics have hammered him on a number

of Constitutional issues. Critics have complained that much, if not all of Obama's major initiatives run headlong into Constitutional roadblocks on the power of the Federal Government.

Obama certainly did not help himself in the eyes of the Court when he used the venue

of the State of the Union address early in the year to publicly flog the Court over its

ruling that the First Amendment grants the right to various organizations to run

political ads during the time of an election.

The tongue-lashing clearly did not sit well with the Court, as demonstrated by Justice

Sam Alito, who publicly shook his head and stated under his breath, 'That's not true,'

And it is no accident that the one swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy,

Apparently, the Court has had enough. The Roberts Court has signaled, in a very subtle

manner, of course, that it intends to address the issues about which Obama critics have

been screaming to high heaven. A ruling against Obama on any one of these important

issues could potentially cripple the Administration. Such a thing would be long overdue.

1st -- There is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the

Federal Government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not

the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the

intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution LIMITS FEDERAL Government, not

State Governments, from such things, and further, not everyone has to drive, and thus,

a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a

vehicle. In the ObamaCare world, however, NO citizen can 'OPT OUT.'

2nd -- Sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama's history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the

office of President. The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of aSocial Security number in Connecticut , while Obama

was a high school student in Hawaii. And that is only the tip of the iceberg.

3rd -- Several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and

pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court. Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration,

not even during the Nixon years. Nixon and the Watergate conspirators look like choirboys compared to the jokers that populate this Administration.

In addition, the Court will eventually be forced to rule on the dreadful decision of the

Obama Department Of Justice suing the state of Arizona. That, too, could send the

Obama doctrine of open borders to an early grave, given that the Administration refuses

to enforce federal law on illegal aliens.

Finally, the BIGGIE that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a

free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice

and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party. The group was caught on tape COMMITTING FELONIES by attempting to intimidate Caucasian voters into staying

A whistle-blower who resigned from the Department Of Justice is now charging Holder

Obama Has New Scheme Cooking With EPA

So, the Obama Administration is at it again, this time considering using the power of the federal government to ban the sale of certain types of ammunition. This ban would increase cost for hunters and fisherman dramatically if implemented, and would go against the will of the American people....gee, there's a big surprise! Obama not following the will of the people! This is a totally inappropriate use of federal power, once again!

U.S. News and World Report posted a story today indicating that President Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering a ban on lead bullets and sinkers in the name of "protecting the environment". Oh yeah, that's exactly what it is all about folks! This ban, if put into place, would dramatically increase the cost of ammunition for hunters and lead sinkers for anglers. If gun owners needed any more evidence that the Obama Administration is looking for creative ways to take away the Second Amendment rights of all Americans, they need to look no further than this new proposed rule.

This is an idea that would have absolutely no chance of passing in Congress, yet liberals in the Obama Administration clearly are looking for ways to implement a creative means to raise the prices of ammunition and infringe on hunter’s rights. The American people reject gun control, yet Obama and the EPA does not care about the will of the American people. Remember, this is the same Administration that nominated two anti-Second Amendment lawyers to the Supreme Court, Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan.

The NRA is already on full alert and has already gone to their battle stations to fight this new scheme cooked up by the man who wants to be king and his EPA cronies!

Special army unit ready to be deployed on American soil just before November elections

In October of this year, one month prior to the November midterm elections, a special army unit known as 'Consequence Management Response Force' will be ready for deployment on American soil if so ordered by the President.

The special force, which is the new name being given to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, has been training at Fort Stewart, Georgia and is composed of 80,000 troops.

According to the Army Times,

They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.

The key phrase is 'may be called upon to help with civil unrest.'

This afternoon a local radio talk show host reported that he had been in contact with a member of the military. This military source stated that the armed forces have been alerted to the strong possibility that civil unrest may occur in the United States this summer, prior to the midterm elections of 2010.

The source described this as 'our long, hot summer of discontent' that could be eerily reminiscent of the summer of 1968 when riots broke out in many of our largest cities.

However, the summer of 2010 could well be much worse due to the players involved. In 1968 the major players were war protesters. This time, the outrage simmering beneath the surface of American society involves a broad cross-section of the heartland, and most of them are heavily armed.

It is highly unlikely that these citizens would ever initiate armed conflict of any kind. In their view, gun rights are for self-defense--and for defense against tyrannical government, which our Founders regarded as the most dangerous force on earth.

However, it has become clear that other groups may well initiate violence in order to start an 'incident' that would give Obama and a rogue Congress a reason to implement martial law, confiscate the citizens' guns, enforce curfews, and suspend all future elections until such time as it is deemed 'safe' to proceed with human liberty as encapsulated in the right to vote.

Tea Party members, for example, have been warned in recent days that members of Andy Stern's SEIU union and members of the organization formerly known as ACORN plan to infiltrate Tea Party gatherings in order to incite some sort of incident that could result in armed conflict.

In addition, all indications point to a humiliating defeat for the Democrats and Obama in November. Not only will the House in all likelihood transfer to Republican control, but it is increasingly possible for the Democrats to lose the Senate as well.

And there are Leftwing groups in this country that would use whatever means necessary to prevent that from happening.

ACORN has already gone underground, changing its name so as to fly beneath the radar screen. How many people will the group register to vote illegally? And with Obama's plan to naturalize between 10 and 20 million illegal aliens, a brand new voter base for the Democrats will be in place prior to November.

Add to this the growing unrest over continued high unemployment, the coming spike in interest rates and inflation, and the still-boiling outrage over the manner in which Obama and the Democrats shoved ObamaCare down the throats of the citizens, and all of the ingredients are present for a major F-5 tornado to sweep across the heartland.

To what extent would soldiers use deadly force during such 'civil unrest' should the Consequence Management Response Team be utilized? During the anti-war riots of the 1960s they killed student protesters. What about now?

The military source cited by the radio host today was asked this very question. He would merely say that the culture of the U.S. military is changing--half support Obama and the other half are dead-set against him. His conclusion? There is no way to know for sure if they would obey an order to open fire on ordinary citizens.

Update: The Cato Institute published this warning when the program was launched in its first phase in 2008 (the program has been updated and expanded since 2008). The Founders insisted that standing armies were never to be used against American citizens on our own soil, no matter what violations of this principle have occurred in the years following. The State police officers who stopped Oklahoma City motorist Chip Harrison and confiscated a sign from his car told him he has a right to his beliefs, but the Secret Service "could construe this as a threat against President Obama," according to the incident report released this morning. The sign stated "Abort Obama not the Unborn."

"The Secret Service called and said they were at my house," Harrison said.
After talking to his attorney, Harrison went home where he met the Secret Service.
"When I was on my way there, the Secret Service called me and said they weren't going to ransack my house or anything ... they just wanted to (walk through the house) and make sure I wasn't a part of any hate groups."
Harrison said he invited the Secret Service agents into the house and they were "very cordial."
"We walked through the house and my wife and 2-year-old were in the house," Harrison said.

He said they interviewed him for about 30 minutes and then left, not finding any evidence Harrison was a threat to the president.
"I'm still in contact with a lawyer right now," Harrison said. "I don't know what I'm going to do."
Harrison said he feels his First Amendment rights were violated.

If you've started to wonder what the real costs of "socialism" are
going to be, once the full program in these United States hits your

They started out as minuscule-right around the 1% or 2% where they
will start out in the United States. Magically however, they ran up
over the years to where they are now. Expect the same thing here.

It's time to rethink the 'American Dream' idea: It is the notion that
with hard work and perseverance, anybody can get ahead economically
here. Do you think that can ever happen with tax rates between 60%
and 80%? Think again. With the government taking that percentage of
your money, your life will be exactly like life in Europe. You will
never be able to buy a home. You will never buy a car. You will
never send your children to college. Let's not shuffle the battle cry
of the socialists under the rug either. It's always the same cry.
"Equalize" income. "Spread the wealth" to the "poor" (whoever they
are). "Level" the economic playing field. Accomplish that and
everything will be rosy.

It's time to take a really hard look at reality. Greece is a perfect

Socialist Clinton Signs Treaty to Ban Small Arms in America, Civil War 2 is Close

The United States reversed policy and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush’s administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the United States would support the talks as long as the negotiating forum, the so-called Conference on the Arms Trade Treaty, “operates under the rules of consensus decision-making.”

“Consensus is needed to ensure the widest possible support for the Treaty and to avoid loopholes in the Treaty that can be exploited by those wishing to export arms irresponsibly,” Clinton said in a written statement.

While praising the Obama administration’s decision to overturn the Bush-era policy and to proceed with negotiations to regulate conventional arms sales, some groups criticized the U.S. insistence that decisions on the treaty be unanimous.

“The shift in position by the world’s biggest arms exporter is a major breakthrough in launching formal negotiations at the United Nations in order to prevent irresponsible arms transfers,” Amnesty International and Oxfam International said in a joint statement.

However, they said insisting that decisions on the treaty be made by consensus “could fatally weaken a final deal.”

“Governments must resist US demands to give any single state the power to veto the treaty as this could hold the process hostage during the course of negotiations. We call on all governments to reject such a veto clause,” said Oxfam International’s policy adviser Debbie Hillier.

The proposed legally binding treaty would tighten regulation of, and set international standards for, the import, export and transfer of conventional weapons.

Supporters say it would give worldwide coverage to close gaps in existing regional and national arms export control systems that allow weapons to pass onto the illicit market.

Nations would remain in charge of their arms export control arrangements but would be legally obliged to assess each export against criteria agreed under the treaty. Governments would have to authorize transfers in writing and in advance.

The main opponent of the treaty in the past was the U.S. Bush administration, which said national controls were better. Last year, the United States accounted for more than two-thirds of some $55.2 billion in global arms transfer deals.

Arms exporters China, Russia and Israel abstained last year in a U.N. vote on the issue.

The proposed treaty is opposed by conservative U.S. think tanks like the Heritage Foundation, which said last month that it would not restrict the access of “dictators and terrorists” to arms but would be used to reduce the ability of democracies such as Israel to defend their people.

The U.S. lobbying group the National Rifle Association has also opposed the treaty.

A resolution before the U.N. General Assembly is sponsored by seven nations including major arms exporter Britain. It calls for preparatory meetings in 2010 and 2011 for a conference to negotiate a treaty in 2012.

New Obama Law Warned Will Jail 500,000 Americans

Foreign Ministry reports circulating in the Kremlin today are warning that an already explosive situation in the United States is about to get a whole lot worse as a new law put forth by President Obama is said capable of seeing up to 500,000 American citizens jailed for the crime of opposing their government.

Sparking the concern of Russian diplomats over the growing totalitarian bent of the Obama government is the planned reintroduction of what these reports call one of the most draconian laws ever introduced in a free society that is titled “The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act”.

First introduced in the US Congress in 2007 by Democratic Representative Jane Harmon, this new law passed the US House of Representatives by a secretive voice vote, but failed to pass the US Senate, after which it was believed dead until this past week when it was embraced by Obama who became the first American President to name his own citizens as a threat to his Nations security.

In what is called the National Security Strategy document, that is required of US Presidents by their Congress, that embraces the dictatorial ideals of the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act”, Obama has ordered his Federal police and intelligence forces to begin targeting Americans opposed to him and his radical socialist polices.

Obama’s top counter-terrorism advisor, John Brennan, in speaking to reporters about this new “strategy” says it makes the problem of home-grown terrorists a top priority because an increasing number of individuals in the US have become “captivated by extremist ideology or causes.”

The Times of London is further reporting that Obama’s new National Security Strategy “officially” ends America’s “War on Terror” in what they call “a sweeping repudiation of the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive military strikes.”

And as Obama begins re-focusing his forces from fighting America’s foreign enemies, to those opposed to him in his own country, it is important to remember the warning about this new law given by the former CIA official, Philip Giraldi, who had previously warned of the Bush-Cheney plan to attack Iran with nuclear weapons, and who said:

“The mainstream media has made no effort to inform the public of the impending Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act. The Act, which was sponsored by Congresswoman Jane Harman of California, was passed in the House by an overwhelming 405 to 6 vote on October 24th and is now awaiting approval by the Senate Homeland Security Committee, which is headed by Senator Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut.

Harman’s bill contends that the United States will soon have to deal with home grown terrorists and that something must be done to anticipate and neutralize the problem. The act deals with the issue through the creation of a congressional commission that will be empowered to hold hearings, conduct investigations, and designate various groups as “homegrown terrorists.”

The commission will be tasked to propose new legislation that will enable the government to take punitive action against both the groups and the individuals who are affiliated with them. Like Joe McCarthy and HUAC in the past, the commission will travel around the United States and hold hearings to find the terrorists and root them out.

Unlike inquiries in the past where the activity was carried out collectively, the act establishing the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Commission will empower all the members on the commission to arrange hearings, obtain testimony, and even to administer oaths to witnesses, meaning that multiple hearings could be running simultaneously in various parts of the country.

The ten commission members will be selected for their “expertise,” though most will be appointed by Congress itself and will reflect the usual political interests. They will be paid for their duties at the senior executive pay scale level and will have staffs and consultants to assist them.

Harman’s bill does not spell out terrorist behavior and leaves it up to the Commission itself to identify what is terrorism and what isn’t.

Language inserted in the act does partially define “homegrown terrorism” as “planning” or “threatening” to use force to promote a political objective, meaning that just thinking about doing something could be enough to merit the terrorist label.

The act also describes “violent radicalization” as the promotion of an “extremist belief system” without attempting to define “extremist.”

As an example of those American’s Obama will be targeting, Giraldi further writes that The Simon Wiesenthal Center, in testifying before the US Congress in support of this new law, swore that an organization called “Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth” was an example of a homegrown terrorist organization, leading one Russian diplomat in this report to state “If 1,200 of America’s top architectural and engineering professionals are deemed terrorists simply because they question their governments propaganda than truly no one is safe in the United States anymore”.

As another example of how dictatorial the Obama regime has become, and as the Gulf of Mexico oil debacle has now become the worst ecological disaster our World has ever seen, the White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs, this past week slammed American reporters for “asking too many questions about BP”. Leading one to ask that if Obama’s regime can’t be asked about this disaster, what can they be asked about?

The answer is apparently none, as Obama himself, just this past week, in announcing his signing of a new law called the Press Freedom Act refused to answer any reporters questions and abruptly left them standing in stupefaction over the irony an ordeal that shows how far America has fallen.

Another irony apparently lost upon the American people is that their President Obama, who has been dubbed “The Great Communicator”, now holds the dubious distinction of having held less press conferences than any American President in modern history. And if yesterday’s press conference, his first in nearly a year, was any example one can see why as incredulous press corps was left astounded that Obama had no knowledge of the firing/resignation of one of his top officials.

In all of these events one fact, beyond all others, stands out….in what was once called “The Land of the Free, And the Home of the Brave”…..the United States today has become “The Land Of Slave, And the Home of the Coward”….and these Americans have only themselves to blame.

She is a member of the American Sociological Association and the American Philosophical Association.

She has been a John M. Olin Foundation Faculty Fellow, and honored as a Distinguished Alumni of the Year by the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education.

In fall 1988 she was one of a select group of intellectuals who were featured in Bill Moyer's television series, "A World of Ideas." The transcript of her conversation with Moyers has been published in his book, A World of Ideas.

Dr. Wortham is author of "The Other Side of Racism: A Philosophical Study of Black Race Consciousness" which analyzes how race consciousness is transformed into political strategies and policy issues.

She has published numerous articles on the implications of individual rights for civil rights policy, and is currently writing a book on theories of social and cultural marginality.

Recently, she has published articles on the significance of multiculturalism and Afrocentricism in education, the politics of victimization and the social and political impact of political correctness. Shortly after an interview in 2004, she was awarded tenure.

Fellow Americans,

Please know: I am Black; I grew up in the segregated South. I did not vote for Barack Obama; I wrote in Ron Paul's name as my choice for president. Most importantly, I am not race conscious. I do not require a Black president to know that I am a person of worth, and that life is worth living. I do not require a Black president to love the ideal of America .

I cannot join you in your celebration. I feel no elation. There is no smile on my face. I am not jumping with joy. There are no tears of triumph in my eyes. For such emotions and behavior to come from me, I would have to deny all that I know about the requirements of human flourishing and survival - all that I know about the history of the United States of America , all that I know about American race relations, and all that I know about Barack Obama as a politician. I would have to deny the nature of the "change" that Obama asserts has come to America .

Most importantly, I would have to abnegate my certain understanding that you have chosen to sprint down the road to serfdom that we have been on for over a century. I would have to pretend that individual liberty has no value for the success of a human life. I would have to evade your rejection of the slender reed of capitalism on which your success and mine depend. I would have to think it somehow rational that 94 percent of the 12 million Blacks in this country voted for a man because he looks like them (that Blacks are permitted to play the race card), and that they were joined by self-declared "progressive" whites who voted for him because he doesn't look like them.

I would have to wipe my mind clean of all that I know about the kind of people who have advised and taught Barack Obama and will fill posts in his administration - political intellectuals like my former colleagues at the Harvard University 's Kennedy School of Government.

I would have to believe that "fairness" is equivalent of justice. I would have to believe that a man who asks me to "go forward in a new spirit of service, in a new service of sacrifice" is speaking in my interest.. I would have to accept the premise of a man that economic prosperity comes from the "bottom up," and who arrogantly believes that he can will it into existence by the use of government force. I would have to admire a man who thinks the standard of living of the masses can be improved by destroying the most productive and the generators of wealth.

Finally, Americans, I would have to erase from my consciousness the scene of 125,000 screaming, crying, cheering people in Grant Park, Chicago irrationally chanting "Yes We Can!" Finally, I would have to wipe all memory of all the times I have heard politicians, pundits, journalists, editorialists, bloggers and intellectuals declare that capitalism is dead - and no one, including especially Alan Greenspan, objected to their assumption that the particular version of the anti-capitalistic mentality that they want to replace with their own version of anti-capitalism is anything remotely equivalent to capitalism.

So you have made history, Americans. You and your children have elected a Black man to the office of the president of the United States , the wounded giant of the world. The battle between John Wayne and Jane Fonda is over - and Fonda won. Eugene McCarthy and George McGovern must be very happy men. Jimmie Carter, too. And the Kennedys have at last gotten their Kennedy look-a-like. The self-righteous welfare statists in the suburbs can feel warm moments of satisfaction for having elected a Black person.

So, toast yourselves: 60s countercultural radicals, 80s yuppies and 90s bourgeois bohemians. Toast yourselves, Black America. Shout your glee Harvard, Princeton , Yale, Duke, Stanford, and Berkeley. You have elected not an individual who is qualified to be president, but a Black man who, like the pragmatist Franklin Roosevelt, promises to - Do Something! You now have someone who has picked up the baton of Lyndon Johnson's Great Society. But you have also foolishly traded your freedom and mine - what little there is left - for the chance to feel good.

There is nothing in me that can share your happy obliviousness. God Help Us all.

Lifestyle Behavior Modification

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is fond of saying, “You don’t ever want a crisis to go to waste; it’s an opportunity to do important things that you would otherwise avoid.” Well, the Obama Administration certainly has not let the British Petroleum (BP) Deepwater Horizon oil rig crisis go to waste, using it as a smokescreen to silently assault and further diminish American citizens’ personal freedom, and while the nation has its eyes and ears focused on the blame game ping-pong match between President Obama and BP top brass, President Obama on Thursday, June 10, quietly announced a new Executive Order establishing the “National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council.”

You will "change" to my liking!
Claiming the “authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America,” President Obama has truly gone off the deep end this time in his most atrocious attempt to date to control every aspect of Americans’ lives.

According to Sec. 5. of the Executive Order that details the President’s “National Prevention and Health Promotion Strategy,” the Council will be charged with carrying out “lifestyle behavior modification” among American citizens that do not exhibit “healthy behavior.”

The President’s desired lifestyle behavior modifications focus on:

■ smoking cessation;
■ proper nutrition;
■ appropriate exercise;
■ mental health;
■ behavioral health;
■ sedentary behavior;
■ substance-use disorder; and
■ domestic violence screenings.

Making matters even worse, if that is even possible at this point, President Obama will create an “Advisory Group” composed of experts hand-picked from the public health field and various other areas of expertise “outside the Federal Government.”

Let’s consider who the President has sought advice and mentoring from in the past:
■ Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who the Anti-Defamation League calls a “Messenger of Intolerance,” and
■ Bill Ayers, leader of the 1960′s domestic terrorist group ”Weatherman” that was “responsible for 30 bombings aimed at destroying the defense and security infrastructures of the U.S.”
Now, President Obama is going to seek medical advisors who will be charged with modifying lifestyles and behaviors of those citizens he deems unhealthy? “Paging Dr. Kevorkian! You’re wanted in the White House STAT by President Obama!”

Whether you are a child, a parent, a worker, or retired, the President’s approximately 25-member “Advisory Group” will soon be present in every aspect of Americans’ lives, as the Executive Order prescribes. Specifically, our new so-called lifestyle behavior modification advisors will be actively carrying out the President’s orders in:

■ worksite health promotion;
■ community services, including community health centers;
■ preventive medicine;
■ health coaching;
■ public health education;
■ geriatrics; and
■ rehabilitation medicine.

President Obama’s sweeping plan to enforce “lifestyle behavior modification” is chock full of open-ended target areas, especially when it comes to issues of “mental” and “behavioral” health, “proper nutrition,” “sedentary behavior,” and “appropriate exercise.” The President’s Executive Order is a blatant and forceful attempt to adjust the way Americans young and old think, behave, eat, drink and whatever else free will used to entitle our nation’s citizens to enjoy as prescribed by the Founding Fathers.

If you are feeling stressed-out, sad, confused, hungry, thirsty, bored, or tired, do you honestly trust President Obama and his “Advisory Group” to act in your best interests? Personally, I wouldn't trust him to take out my garbage!

This is supposed to be part of the new Health Care Bill.

I contacted my Congressman about House bill HR3590 the health care bill Just passed. I asked for a summary of changes. The aid directed me to go to www: Thomas.gov ; enter HR3590 in the search Box and look for summaries.

Starting in 2011 (next year folks) your W 2 tax form sent by your employer will be increased to show the value of what ever health insurance you are given by the company. It does not matter if that's a private concern or Governmental body of some sort. If you're retired. So what; your gross will go up by the amount of insurance you get.

You will be required to pay taxes on a large sum of money that you have never seen.

Take your tax form you just finished and see what $15,000 or $20,000 Additional gross does to your tax debt. That's what you'll pay next year. For many it also puts you into a new higher bracket so it's even worse.

This is how the government is going to buy insurance for 15 % that do not have insurance and it's only part of the tax increases. Not believing this I researched the summaries and here's what I'm reading:

On page 25 of 29 : TITLE IX REVENUE PROVISIONS- SUBTITLE A: REVENUE OFFSET PROVISIONS-(sec . 9001 , as modified by sec. 10901) Sec.9002. "requires employers to include in the W-2 form of each employee the aggregate cost of applicable employer sponsored group health coverage that is excludable from the employees gross income." Joan Pryde is the senior tax editor for the Kiplinger letters. Go to Kiplingers and read about 13 tax changes that could affect you. Number 3 is what I just told you about.

"I spent five years working in Mexico. I worked under a tourist Visa for three months and could legally renew it for three more months. After that you were working illegally. I was technically illegal for three weeks waiting on the FM3 approval.

"During that six months our Mexican and U.S. attorneys were working to secure a permanent work visa called a 'FM3'. It was in addition to my U.S. passport that I had to show each time I entered and left the country. Barbara's was the same, except hers did not permit her to work.

"To apply for the FM3, I needed to submit the following notarized originals (not copies):
1. Birth certificate for Barbara and me.
2. Marriage certificate.
3. High school transcripts and proof of graduation.
4. College transcripts for every college I attended and proof of graduation.
5. Two letters of recommendation from supervisors I had worked for at least one year.
6. A letter from the St. Louis Chief of Police indicating that I had no arrest record in the U.S. and no outstanding warrants and, was "a citizen in good standing".
7. "Finally, I had to write a letter about myself that clearly stated why there was no Mexican citizen with my skills and why my skills were important to Mexico. We called it our 'I am the greatest person on Earth' letter. It was fun to write."

"All of the above were in English that had to be translated into Spanish and be certified as legal translations, and our signatures notarized. It produced a folder about 1.5 inches thick with English on the left side & Spanish on the right."

"Once they were completed Barbara and I spent about five hours, accompanied by a Mexican attorney, touring Mexican government office locations and being photographed and fingerprinted at least three times at each location, and we remember at least four locations where we were instructed on Mexican tax, labor, housing, and criminal law and that we were required to obey their laws or face the consequences. We could not protest any of the government's actions or we would be committing a felony. We paid out four thousand dollars in fees and bribes to complete the process. When this was done we could legally bring in our household goods that were held by U.S. Customs in Laredo, Texas. This meant we had rented furniture in Mexico while awaiting our goods. There were extensive fees involved here that the company paid."

"We could not buy a home and were required to rent at very high rates and under contract and compliance with Mexican law."

"We were required to get a Mexican driver's license. This was an amazing process. The company arranged for the licensing agency to come to our headquarters location with their photography and fingerprint equipment and the laminating machine. We showed our U.S. license, were photographed and fingerprinted again and issued the license instantly after paying out a six dollar fee. We did not take a written or driving test and never received instructions on the rules of the road. Our only instruction was to never give a policeman your license if stopped and asked. We were instructed to hold it against the inside window away from his grasp. If he got his hands on it you would have to pay ransom to get it back. "

"We then had to pay and file Mexican income tax annually using the number of our FM3 as our ID number. The company's Mexican accountants did this for us and we just signed what they prepared. It was about twenty legal size pages annually."

"The FM3 was good for three years and renewable for two more after paying more fees."

"Leaving the country meant turning in the FM3 and certifying we were leaving no debts behind and no outstanding legal affairs (warrants, tickets or liens) before our household goods were released to customs."

"It was a real adventure and if any of our Senators or Congressmen went through it once they would have a different attitude toward Mexico."

"The Mexican government uses its vast military and police forces to keep its citizens intimidated and compliant. They never protest at their capitol or government offices, but do protest daily in front of the United States Embassy. The U.S. Embassy looks like a strongly reinforced fortress and during most protests the Mexican military surrounds the block with their men standing shoulder to shoulder in full riot gear to protect the Embassy. These protests are never shown on U.S. or Mexican TV. There is a large public park across the street where they do their protesting. Anything can cause a protest such as proposed law changes in California or Texas."

Comments To a Liberal German American Fool

Most of the people who live in this country today have no clue about history, the real history; they only know what the progressive institutions have taught them. I grew up being taught only what the system wanted me to know, no more, but I have taken it upon myself to become better educated and to learn about the facts that the progressive socialists who have dominated our government for decades and does not want us to know.
Now and then a good politician will appear such as the likes of Ronald Reagan but their hard work and efforts are quickly turned into nothing more than white noise and the progressive agenda is quick to replace the positive efforts with those of more control and government intervention. People have become progressively lazy and since the 60’s hippie movement it has become an epidemic. I grew up in the 60’s and I remember them well, the free love, the drugs the non working bums who have grown up, produced children and instilled into them a sense of entitlement that everyone owes them for being alive and living on the planet. This is when it really started to come undone in this country and it is finally engulfing is in a nation of “Lazy good for nothing I’m entitled to whatever I want for free bums” that will be the ruin of this great nation. Don’t get me wrong, there are those who have stepped above this and have realized just what the government is up to, but it is still an epidemic that rages on.
Let’s take a quick journey into the life of Adolph Hitler, a very brilliant individual; he was very charismatic and was able to talk to people (without a teleprompter) in a way that made them feel as if he was their new Savior, their God. He promised them “Change” he promised them free healthcare, free shelter, food and clothing, he promised to create a government run state that would allow everyone to have an equal piece of the pie. He would re-distribute the wealth among the people so that those who were lazy good for nothings would be taken care of by the greedy capitalistic people who had a sense of duty to themselves and their families and thus they worked hard to make a living and a life for themselves and their families. He duped over 50% of the German population into voting for him and he then proceeded straight on to “Change” by taking total control of everyone’s lives, giving them nothing and murdering millions upon millions of people and not just Jews. By the time Hitler fell, Germany was in ruin, Germany and its people were hated by the world and there was still an overwhelming chunk of the population who still supported and believed in Hitler and what he was doing! This says something about the arrogance of the German people and their desperate desire to always be right and their refusal to admit when they are wrong.
Now take a step back and think about what was just said and hopefully you will realize that what we are now seeing is the same scenario playing out here in America with BHO at the helm but with the help of his teleprompter. With BHO there are strings attached, much like a marionette where others are pulling the strings. BHO is nothing more than an arrogant individual who believes that he is in power and control, yet he is not. There is a higher power at work using him and his arrogance to take down the greatest nation in the world, and it is also using the arrogance of the American people as well. I’m sure you have all watched the Star Wars movies, let’s jump to number 2; Anakin Skywalker is being duped by Senator Palpatine and slowly led down the path to the dark side. This is being accomplished very easily due to Anakin’s arrogance and deep seeded love of himself, his wants and desires. Palpatine has to but to place small bits of information into Anakin’s head that he knows will conjure up his anger and his arrogance to a level where he will destroy himself. BHO is doing exactly the same thing here in America, he is using the arrogance, stupidity and selfishness of those he is luring into his trap. Many have been duped by this man and his ability to talk them into being his “Sith Apprentices”! It saddens me that so many people have chosen to follow the likes of BHO (The Dark Side) rather than God, (The Force) which is exactly what happened in Nazi Germany. People in America have become just as arrogant as the German people were back then and even now all across the world, peoples overwhelming desire to always be right and refusal to listen to anyone but themselves.
Common sense no longer plays a role in most people’s lives, they live angry, self serving, me me me lives wanting only for themselves and offering nothing in return. Adolph Hitler used this arrogance and followed the playbooks of American progressive socialist agenda types like Wilson, Roosevelt, Bernays and Lipmann to create Nazi Germany. That’s right; Hitler was, because of what Americans taught him. BHO is now doing exactly the same thing, page by page, one day at a time using exactly the same playbooks, yet so many cannot see it. History is bound to repeat itself is a lesson that so many have never learned.
I have lived in a relatively free America for well over 50 years and up until just the last few have had a pretty good life mostly because of my own doing and ability to understand and adjust to the unjust system that has been slowly eroding year after year, and sadly I fear that my children and grandchildren will never see it that good again. I by no means have ever been wealthy, but I have been able to work hard and support my family, help my friends and help those less fortunate, and by less fortunate I don’t mean those who wish to sit on their big fat butts and look for a handout, I mean those who were widowed and left with small children, those who have no parents, those who have lost the ability to provide for themselves due to accident or disaster, there’s a big difference.
Yes America is somewhat of a free nation, for now, which up to this point has given everyone the right to speak out and air their feelings or their differences. But even as I type this our nation is under attack from this administration who is desperately trying to take away our right of free speech, some of which and other rights have already been attacked and taken away, and no one is exempt unless you are ultra wealthy siding with the progressive agenda and then you will fall into a special class of people being given rights and privileges over others as was the case in Nazi Germany……or at least, that is, until you are no longer needed, as was the case in Nazi Germany.
This government feels that they should protect the likes of someone who is a spineless camel riding towel head that wants to kill me or my family or friends in the name of Allah and frankly I just don’t see it that way. My family is more important to me than life itself and if anyone should dare to try and attack them in any way, they are but a short distance away from a trip in the hearse. I have rights guaranteed to me by God and the Constitution of the United States and in that I am guaranteed the right to life, liberty and the purist of happiness, the right to free speech, the right to bear arms, the right to come and go as I please, the right to speak out against a corrupt government. I have the right to protect my family which I will do even unto death and I have a right to worship God and no one will ever tell me that I cannot. Once the people of this country fall onto hard times and find themselves back on their knees asking for God to help them and praying for an end of their children’s suffering and pain, then will this country find its way back to where it came from.
The American Revolution was fought by just over 30% of the population, just over 30% of the population believed that living under the socialist rule of England was the way to go and fought to keep America under slavery; the remainder sat and hid from the fight as they did not want to get involved. Frankly, I personally would never be on the side of people who actually believe as the woman on welfare who stated: “We should have no boarders, everyone should just come and go as they please, Obama takes care of people like me with his stash, taxpayers don’t take care of me and Obama does and he gets all his stash money from illegal aliens who work in this country and then give all their money to him so that he can take care of people like me.” Holy cow, are you kidding me???? If you follow the likes of that woman and so many others who believe the same rhetoric, I can’t pity you enough, you are beyond hope, you’re a lost cause, you are a sad pathetic human being.
Those who believe that BHO is their new Savior and those who refuse to get involved, have been and will be the cause of this nations fall into peril, but those who stand against the evils of the government, those who stand for God will be the ones who will ultimately save this nation. America has always been the greatest nation in the world because people were willing to work hard, provide for themselves, worship God and to stand tall against any adversary who would try and destroy her.
I have seen many in my personal friends and those who choose to be my Facebook friends who are willing to stand tall against the adversary and I am proud to stand among them. With God’s help, we will be victorious, we will take this nation back and those who have attempted to destroy her will be dealt with severely. 1. He destroyed the Clinton Political Machine - Driving a stake through the heart of Hillary's Presidential aspirations - something that no Republican was able to do. Remember when a Hillary Presidency scared the daylights out of you!

In December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles they had picked up 14 senate seats and 52 house seats. In just one year, Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the house, if not the senate back to the Republicans.

I don't know how everybody else feels about it, but to me I
think Hispanic people in this country, legally or illegally,
made a huge public relations mistake with their recent demonstrations.

I don't blame anybody in the world for wanting to come to the
United States of America , as it is a truly wonderful place.

But when the first thing you do when you set foot on American soil is illegal it is flat out wrong and I don't care how many lala land left heads come out of the woodwork and start trying to give me sensitivity lessons.

I don't need sensitivity lessons, in fact I don't have any-thing against Mexicans! I just have something against criminals and anybody who comes into this country illegally is a criminal and if you don't believe it, try coming into America from a foreign country without a passport and see how far you get. What disturbs me about the demonstrations is that it's tantamount to saying, "I am going to come into your country even if it means breaking your laws, and there's nothing you can do about it."

It's an "in your face" action and speaking just for me, I don't like it one little bit, and if there were a half dozen pairs of gonads in Washington bigger than English peas, it wouldn't be happening.

Where are you, you bunch of lily livered, pantywaist, forked tongued, sorry excuses for defenders of The Constitution? Have you been drinking the water out of the Potomac again?
And even if you pass a bill on immigration it will probably be so pork laden and watered down that it won't mean anything anyway Besides, what good is another law going to do when you
won't enforce the ones on the books now?

And what ever happened to the polls, guys? I thought you folks were the quintessential finger wetters. Well you sure ain't paying any attention to the polls this time because somewhere around eighty percent of Americans want some thing done about this mess, and mess it is and getting bigger everyday.

This is no longer a problem, it is a dilemma and headed for being a tragedy. Do you honestly think that what happened in France with the Muslims can't happen here when the businesses who hire these people finally run out of jobs and a few million disillusioned Hispanics take to the streets?

If you, Mr. President, Congressmen and Senators, knuckle under on this and refuse to do something meaningful it means that you care nothing for the kind of country your children and grand-children will inherit. But I guess that doesn't matter as long as you get re-elected.

One of the big problems in America today is that if you have the nerve to say anything derogatory about any group of people (except Christians) you are going to be screamed at by the media and called a racist, a bigot and anything else they can think of to call you

Well I've been pounded by the media before and I'm still rockin' and rollin' and when it comes to speaking the truth I fear not.
And the truth is that the gutless, gonadless, milksop politicians are just about to sell out the United States of America because they don't have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to face reality.

And reality is that we would never allow any other group of people to have 12 million illegal in this country and turn around and say, "Oh it's ok, ya'll can stay here if you'll just allow us to slap your wrist."

And I know that some of you who read this column are saying "Well what's wrong with that?"
I'll tell you what's wrong with it. These people could be from Mars as far as we know. We don't know who they are, where they are or what they're up to and the way the Congress is going we're not going to.

Does this make sense? Labor force you say? We already subsidize corporate agriculture as it is, must we subsidize their labor as well?
If these people were from Haiti would we be so fast to turn a blind eye to them or if they were from Somalia or Afghanistan ?
I think not.

All the media shows us are pictures of hard working Hispanics who have crossed the border just to try to better their life.
They don't show you pictures of the Feds rounding up members of MS 13, the violent gang who came across the same way the decent folks did. They don't tell you about the living conditions of the Mexican illegal some fat cat hired to pick his crop.

I want to make two predictions.

No. 1: This situation is going to grow and fester until it erupts in violence on our streets while the wimps in Washington drag their toes in the dirt and try to figure how many tons of political hay they can make to the acre.

No 2: Somebody is going to cross that border with some kind of weapon of mass destruction and set it off in a major American city after which there will be a backlash such as this country has never experienced and the Capitol building in Washington will probably tilt as Congressmen and Senators rush to the other side of the issue.

I don't know about you but I would love to see just one major politician stand up and say, "I don't care who I make mad and I don't care how many votes I lose, this is a desperate situation and I'm going to lead the fight to get it straightened out."
I don't blame anybody for wanting to come to America , but if you don't respect our immigration laws why should you respect any others?

The Obama Administration Year One: The flight from gun control

Much to the surprise of many, President Obama’s first year in office has not featured a push for new gun control legislation. In fact, not only has he not pushed for new legislation, he has actively resisted calls by gun control groups while signing legislation allowing open and concealed carry in National Parks and Wildlife Refuges as well as allowing firearms on Amtrak trains.

In fact, the Brady Campaign is so up upset with President Obama that they rated him an ‘F’ on their annual report card. In a report issued on January 18th of this year, they noted that in just one year, President Obama has "signed into law more repeals of federal gun policies than in President George W. Bush’s eight years in office." I must admit that this sentence in their report brings a huge smile to my face every time I read it!

Earlier today, I was speaking with a reporter about this happy state of affairs and was asked the following question:

"Does this mean that those gun-owners who feared that the President would push gun-control were simply paranoid?"

My answer: "Of course not!"

As the Brady report also notes, as a candidate, then-Senator Obama spoke approvingly of a number of gun control proposals. The logical inference to take from his campaign speeches was at least a willingness to consider the radical gun-control agenda of the Brady Campaign.

But then the Supreme Court handed down their landmark ruling in Heller while states continued to liberalize their gun laws at an astonishing rate. As gun ownership and carry became increasingly a normal part of society, President Obama, astute politician that he is, turned his back on what was clearly a losing proposition.

Let’s take a quick look at how President Obama’s approach to federal gun control has evolved:

In July 2007 at a campaign event in Chicago, candidate Obama promises a permanent reinstatement of the so-called "Assault Weapons Ban."
On January 19, 2009 Attorney General Nominee Eric Holder spoke at his confirmation hearing about gun controls he felt would be acceptable in a post-Heller America and mentioned the so-called "Assault Weapons Ban" as one such control.
On February 25, 2009, then-seated Attorney General Holder stated that the Obama Administration would seek to reinstate the so-called "Assault Weapons Ban."
On March 25, 2009, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke out in support of a renewal of the so-called "Assault Weapons Ban".
At the end of March, 2009, gun owners were completely justified in fearing that the Obama Administration was planning for gun control to be a major element of their domestic agenda.

But then ...

Following Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s speech, Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was quick to clarify that President Obama had no plans to pursue a renewal of the ban and instead would seek to better enforce existing laws.
In April 2009, a number of citizens in states where it was legal for them to do so openly carried their legal firearms at Presidential events. Press Secretary Gibbs defended these citizens by saying "People are entitled to carry weapons outside such events if local laws allow it. Those laws don't change when the president comes to your state or locality."
Clearly, President Obama and the Democratic Leadership recognized what gun owners have known all along; gun owners are as diverse as America and loyal Democrats wish for their Second Amendment rights to be protected just as do Republican and independent gun owners.

President Obama’s gun rights transformation is proof, not of a change in his core beliefs, but of a change in America itself as gun rights escapes the historical bounds of hunting and becomes mainstream. In order to maintain the momentum of this trend, it is incumbent upon those of us who believe first-and-foremost in gun rights, to continue to reach out to gun owners of all political and ideological persuasions and welcome them with open arms.

Senate Bill S510 Makes it illegal to Grow, Share, Trade or Sell Homegrown Food

S-510, Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010 This just may be the most dangerous bill in the history of the US. It is to our food what the bailout was to our economy, only we can live without money. This is a page right out of Hitlers playbook!

It is similar to what India faced with imposition of the salt tax during British rule, only S 510 extends control over all food in the US, violating the fundamental human right to food.

Monsanto says it has no interest in the bill and would not benefit from it, but Monsanto’s Michael Taylor who gave us rBGH and unregulated genetically modified (GM) organisms, appears to have designed it and is waiting as an appointed Food Czar to the FDA (a position unapproved by Congress) to administer the agency it would create — without judicial review — if it passes. S 510 would give Monsanto unlimited power over all US seed, food supplements, food and farming.

History
In the 1990s, Bill Clinton introduced HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points) purportedly to deal with contamination in the meat industry. Clinton’s HACCP delighted the offending corporate (World Trade Organization “WTO”) meat packers since it allowed them to inspect themselves, eliminated thousands of local food processors (with no history of contamination), and centralized meat into their control. Monsanto promoted HACCP.

In 2008, Hillary Clinton, urged a powerful centralized food safety agency as part of her campaign for president. Her advisor was Mark Penn, CEO of Burson Marsteller*, a giant PR firm representing Monsanto. Clinton lost, but Clinton friends such as Rosa DeLauro, whose husband’s firm lists Monsanto as a progressive client and globalization as an area of expertise, introduced early versions of S 510 which fails on moral, social, economic, political, constitutional, and human survival grounds.

I'm Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen. I want to explain SB 1070 which I voted for and was just signed by Governor Jan Brewer.
Rancher Rob Krantz was murdered by the drug cartel on his ranch a month ago. I participated in a senate hearing two weeks ago on the border violence, here is just some of the highlights from those who testified.

The people who live within 60 to 80 miles of the Arizona/Mexico Border have for years been terrorized and have pleaded for help to stop the daily invasion of humans who cross their property . One Rancher testified that 300 to 1200 people a DAY come across his ranch vandalizing his property, stealing his vehicles and property, cutting down his fences, and leaving trash. In the last two years he has found 17 dead bodies and two Koran bibles.

Another rancher testified that daily drugs are brought across his ranch in a military operation. A point man with a machine gun goes in front, 1/2 mile behind are the guards fully armed, 1/2 mile behind them are the drugs, behind the drugs 1/2 mile are more guards. These people are violent and they will kill anyone who gets in the way. This was not the only rancher we heard that day that talked about the drug trains.

One man told of two illegal's who came upon his property one shot in the back and the other in the arm by the drug runners who had forced them to carry the drugs and then shot them. Daily they listen to gun fire during the night it is not safe to leave his family alone on the ranch and they can't leave the ranch for fear of nothing being left when they come back.

The border patrol is not on the border. They have set up 60 miles away with check points that do nothing to stop the invasion. They are not allowed to use force in stopping anyone who is entering. They run around chasing them, if they get their hands on them then they can take them back across the border.

Federal prisons have over 35% illegals and 20% of Arizona prisons are filled with illegals. In the last few years 80% of our law enforcement that have been killed or wounded have been by an illegal.

The majority of people coming now are people we need to be worried about. The ranchers told us that they have seen a change in the people coming they are not just those who are looking for work and a better life.

The Federal Government has refused for years to do anything to help the border states . We have been over run and once they are here we have the burden of funding state services that they use. Education cost have been over a billion dollars. The healthcare cost billions of dollars. Our State is broke, $3.5 billion deficit and we have many serious decisions to make. One is that we do not have the money to care for any who are not here legally. It has to stop.

The border can be secured. We have the technology we have the ability to stop this invasion. We must know who is coming and they must come in an organized manner legally so that we can assimilate them into our population and protect the sovereignty of our country. We are a nation of laws. We have a responsibility to protect our citizens and to protect the integrity of our country and the government which we live under.

I would give amnesty today to many, but here is the problem, we dare not do this until the Border is secure. It will do no good to forgive them because thousands will come behind them and we will be over run to the point that there will no longer be the United States of America but a North American Union of open borders. I ask you what form of government will we live under? How long will it be before we will be just like Mexico , Canada or any of the other Central American or South American countries? We have already lost our language, everything must be printed in Spanish also. We have already lost our history it is no longer taught in our schools. And we have lost our borders.

The leftist media has distorted what SB 1070 will do. It is not going to set up a Nazi Germany . Are you kidding. The ACLU and the leftist courts will do everything to protect those who are here illegally, but it was an effort to try and stop illegal's from setting up businesses, and employment, and receiving state services and give the ability to local law enforcement when there is probable cause like a traffic stop to determine if they are here legally. Federal law is very clear if you are here on a visa you must have your papers on you at all times. That is the law. In Arizona all you need to show you are a legal citizen is a driver license, MVD identification card, Native American Card, or a Military ID. This is what you need to vote, get a hunting license, etc.. So nothing new has been added to this law. No one is going to be stopped walking down the street etc... The Socialist who are in power in DC are angry because we dare try and do something and that something the Socialist wants us to do is just let them come. They want the "Transformation" to continue.

Maybe it is too late to save America . Maybe we are not worthy of freedom anymore. But as an elected official I must try to do what I can to protect our Constitutional Republic. Living in America is not a right just because you can walk across the border. 11 Alarming Tax Issues in the Health Care Bill

From the GOP Committee on Ways and Means:

1. Creates a special deal for union members. Starting in 2018, a single union worker in a multiemployer health plan would be completely exempt from the "Cadillac tax" (a 40% tax on high-cost plans) unless the price of that plan exceeds $27,500. In contrast, a single, non-union worker living right next door would start paying that Cadillac tax as soon as the value of her health plan exceeds $10,200.

2. Makes a bad surtax worse. Twenty-two House Democrats opposed a surtax contained in an earlier version of the Democrats' health care bill. That surtax would have started at a rate of 2% and would have applied to Americans earning over $280,000 for singles and $350,000 for couples. Under the current version of the bill, however, the Medicare surtaxes on both earned income (imposed at a rate of 0.9%) and investment income (imposed at a higher rate of 3.8%) feature far lower thresholds - $200,000 for singles and $250,000 for couples.

3. Increases taxes on real estate investments. The 3.8% Medicare surtax would hit average, middle-class investors in real estate. A middle-class taxpayer who happens to sell real estate for a significant gain in a particular year would be liable for this new tax, regardless of how low her income might be in other, more typical years. The National Association of Realtors wrote to Speaker Pelosi and Ways and Means Chairman Levin urging that Congress reject this unfair tax increase, especially given the flagging economy.

4. Vastly expands IRS powers. According to a new report, the Democrats' health care bill vastly expands the responsibilities of the Internal Revenue Service and would strengthen the IRS's heavy hand in dealing with ordinary taxpayers who play by the rules. If this bill becomes law, the IRS may have to hire up to 16,500 additional auditors, agents, and other employees just to enforce all the new taxes and penalties. The bill would empower the IRS to: (1) verify that Americans have "acceptable" health care coverage; (2) fine Americans up to $2,085 or 2 percent of income (whichever is greater) for the failure to purchase "minimum essential coverage"; (3) confiscate tax refunds; and (4) increase audits.

5. Imposes new marriage penalties. Because the Democrats' subsidies for health insurance are solely based on the federal poverty level, if two people make $32,000 per year, they would pay between $6,000 and $10,000 more for health insurance than before they said "I do." This is because as singles they were poor enough to receive health care subsidies, but as a married couple, these Americans are too rich for federal assistance. A discussion of how a prior version of the bill would have imposed these marriage penalties can be accessed here.

6. Breaks the President's pledge on not taxing the middle class in at least a dozen ways. The Democrats' health care bill contains at least a dozen direct and indirect tax increases that would break President Obama's pledge not to raise taxes on those making less than $200,000 for singles and $250,000 for couples. These include: (1) a "Cadillac tax" on high-cost plans, (2) an individual mandate tax on Americans who do not purchase government-approved health insurance, (3) an increase in the 7.5% AGI floor for medical expense deductions to 10%, (4) limits on Flexible Spending Accounts in cafeteria plans, (5) increased penalties for nonqualified HSA distributions, (6) other restrictions on Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts, and Flexible Spending Accounts, (7) a tax on tanning services, (8) an employer mandate tax, (9) a sales tax on medical devices, (10) a tax on health insurance premiums, (11) a tax on prescription drugs, and (12) a tax on insured and self-insured health plans.

7. Ensnares a growing number of people in the Cadillac tax. The Cadillac tax in the Democrats' health care bill would not keep pace with medical inflation after it comes into effect in 2018, meaning a larger and larger tax hit over time. Beginning in 2020, this tax would be indexed by only the consumer price index. Given that health insurance premiums will likely increase faster than CPI, the Cadillac tax would hit more and more plans each year and take a bigger bite from those already covered

8. Repeats the mistakes of the AMT. Instead of learning the lesson of the Alternative Minimum Tax, which hits more and more Americans every year because the exemption level is not indexed for inflation, the Democrats' bill repeats this mistake by failing to index the exemption threshold for the Medicare surtaxes on both earned and unearned income.

9. Forces those with catastrophic costs to pay even more. Current law provides important tax relief to Americans who suffer catastrophic out-of-pocket medical expenses, permitting a deduction for costs above 7.5% of income. The Democrats' bill would raise that threshold to 10% of income in 2012 (2016 for seniors and the disabled). This is a particularly hard hit on those with the highest medical costs who can least afford to pay more taxes. And, according to the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation, more than 95% of the revenue generated from this tax increase would come from taxpayers earning less than $200,000.

10. Punishes investment in our economy. Under the Democrats' bill, the Medicare tax would, for the very first time, apply to capital gains, dividends, interest, rents, royalties, and other investment income of singles earning over $200,000 and couples earning over $250,000. Currently, capital gains and dividends are taxed at a top rate of 15%, but those rates are already scheduled to rise in 2011 to 20% and 39.6%, respectively. When the expansion of the Medicare tax is coupled with the already scheduled rate increase, capital gains rates on these types of investment income, long-term capital gains rates would rise by almost 60% next year - from 15% to 23.8% - and the top tax rate on dividends would nearly triple - from 15% to 43.4%.

11. Robs Peter and leaves Paul broke. The Senate-passed Tax Extenders bill (H.R. 4213, as amended) includes one-year extensions of important tax relief policies for both individuals and businesses that expired on December 31, 2009. These include the deduction for state and local sales taxes, the R&D tax credit, and numerous energy-related incentives. Just weeks ago, the Senate decided to "pay for" those provisions by making "black liquor" ineligible for the cellulosic biofuel producer credit and by codifying the economic substance doctrine into law. Yet Democrats have now chosen to steal those very same revenue offsets - totaling $28.1 billion - to help finance their trillion dollar health bill instead. This begs the question: To the extent Democratic Leaders decide to adhere to PAYGO on Tax Extenders, what new taxes will they raise to replace all that lost revenue?

SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER PUBLISHES PATRIOT HIT LIST

In a report on its web site dated April 2010, entitled "Meet The Patriots," the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) profiled "36 individuals at the heart of the resurgent [patriot] movement." (In reading the list, I counted only 35 "patriots" and 5 "enablers" for a total of 40. I'm not really sure how the SPLC came up with "36." Perhaps their ability to count is commensurate with their ability to appreciate patriotism and liberty.) The SPLC (founded by Morris Dees) sees itself as America's guardian against "right wing militias" and loves to label conservatives and libertarians that it doesn't like as "extremists." The SPLC is one of the most ultra-liberal organizations in the country and should be dismissed as a group of paranoid leftists, not worthy of thought or mention.

The sad truth is, however, our federal government has chosen to exalt the SPLC to the position of being its "go to" source for information regarding "potential domestic terrorists" and similar characterizations. As a result, the information and reports disseminated by SPLC wind up in police reports and bulletins all over the United States. As an example, the SPLC had its fingerprints all over the infamous MIAC report. One could even question whether the SPLC is merely a front organization for Big Brother.

Therefore, it is highly likely that the report negatively profiling 40 American patriots will find its way into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) fusion centers and be distributed to police agencies all across the country. So, should the 40 people who find themselves targeted by SPLC expect some kind of government/police attention? Are we really that close to Nazi-style persecution in America? If the SPLC has its way, the answer seems to be a definite yes.

I remind readers that in the book, Nazi Justiz: Law of the Holocaust (page 3), there were five steps to Hitler's plans for the destruction of European Jews. Step 1: Identification/registration of the targeted group as a public menace. Step 2: Ostracism of the targeted persons. Step 3: property confiscation. Step 4: Concentration of members into geographical locations. Step 5: Annihilation. In this latest report, SPLC seems quite willing to accomplish steps 1 and 2.

Here are the 40 names that are targeted in the SPLC report (and guess who is listed at the very top? Yours truly):

The SPLC, no doubt, sees each person on the above list as being a leader of the "radical right," a "conspiracist," and "antigovernment." But understand, the SPLC makes its living off of big-government, leftist ideology. To say it is a shill for Big Government Liberalism is an understatement. The SPLC is so radical it makes the ACLU look conservative!

Again, this SPLC report would not even merit a mention (much less an entire column) except for the fact that the SPLC has become a source of information fuelling anti-freedom hysteria for countless bureaucrats at the DHS. Add this to the previously exposed MIAC and DHS reports, and the Army major's report blaming "millennialist" Christians for much of the ills of the world, and a disturbing trend is quickly developing: so-called right-wing ANYTHING is being targeted and demonized as a "public menace."

But the lists that you and I are not seeing are even more disturbing.

Joel Skousen quotes (Radar Magazine's) Christopher Ketcham's The Last Roundup as asking if the federal government is "compiling a secret enemies list of citizens who could face detention?" He goes on to say, "A number of former government employees and intelligence sources with independent knowledge of domestic surveillance operations claim the program that caused the flap between [former assistant attorney general under John Ashcroft, James] Comey and the White House was related to a database of Americans who might be considered potential threats in the event of a national emergency. Sources familiar with the program say that the government's data gathering has been overzealous and probably conducted in violation of federal law and the protection from unreasonable search and seizure guaranteed by the Fourth Amendment.

"A veteran CIA intelligence analyst who maintains active high-level clearances and serves as an advisor to the Department of Defense in the field of emerging technology tells Radar that during the 2004 hospital room drama [between former Chief of Staff Andrew Card and Attorney General Ashcroft, in an attempt by Card to coerce a very ill Ashcroft to authorize President Bush's secretive domestic spying programs as his assistant--and acting--attorney general had refused to do so], James Comey expressed concern over how this secret database was being used 'to accumulate otherwise private data on non-targeted U.S. citizens for use at a future time.'"

The report further states, "According to a senior government official who served with high-level security clearances in five administrations, 'There exists a database of Americans, who, often for the slightest and most trivial reason, are considered unfriendly, and who, in a time of panic, might be incarcerated. The database can identify and locate perceived "enemies of the state" almost instantaneously.'" At this point, Skousen noted, "And that is precisely why the census bureau took a GPS coordinate on every front door in America, secretly linking this to dissidents and their known addresses."

This database of Americans who are perceived to be potential "enemies of the state" goes by the code name "Main Core." And according to the report, "One knowledgeable source claims that 8 million Americans are now listed in Main Core as potentially suspect. In the event of a national emergency, these people could be subject to everything from heightened surveillance and tracking to direct questioning and possibly even detention.

"Officials at the Department of Homeland Security begin actively scrutinizing people who--for a tremendously broad set of reasons--have been flagged in Main Core as potential domestic threats [sound familiar?]. Some of these individuals might receive a letter or a phone call, others a request to register with local authorities. Still others might hear a knock on the door and find police or armed soldiers outside. In some instances, the authorities might just ask a few questions. Other suspects might be arrested and escorted to federal holding facilities, where they could be detained without counsel until the state of emergency is no longer in effect."

The report also noted that former Assistant Attorney General James Comey "had concluded that the use of that 'Main Core' database compromised the legality of the overall NSA domestic surveillance project. 'If Main Core does exist,' says Philip Giraldi, a former CIA counterterrorism officer and an outspoken critic of the agency, 'the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is its likely home. If a master list is being compiled, it would have to be in a place where there are no legal issues--the CIA and FBI would be restricted by oversight and accountability laws--so I suspect it is at DHS, which as far as I know operates with no such restraints.' Giraldi notes that DHS already maintains a central list of suspected terrorists and has been freely adding people who pose no reasonable threat to domestic security."

So, is there a secret list of 8 million "unfriendly" Americans kept by DHS (if there is, dear reader, you are probably on it!)? Does anyone reading this column doubt that our federal government is more than willing and capable of doing such a thing? All of us are quite familiar with the government's "no fly" or "flagged" airline passenger list. I can personally attest to the authenticity of this list, as airport officials in San Antonio, Texas, told me that I'm on it. I also made it to the "list of three" that were named in the MIAC report (the other two were Ron Paul and Bob Barr). And now I am on the SPLC list of "patriots" (not a compliment in the SPLC lexicon). Wow! I never realize how popular I was! (With the exception of Ron Paul, I'm probably on more lists than anyone in America.)

Who would ever have thought that the day would come in America when to speak up for freedom, constitutional government, and the principles expressed by our Founding Fathers would land one on a government watch list? Well, that day is here, my friend! No doubt, the major media and federal government--in order to further ostracize patriotic, God-fearing Americans--will use the SPLC patriot hit list as a vehicle to carry our country further down the road of oppression.

But what the radical left fearmongers at the Southern Poverty Law Center fail to realize is that the more they try to marginalize and ostracize American patriots such as you and me, the more they isolate themselves from America's future, because millions and millions of hard-working, God-fearing, liberty-loving Americans are not going to sit back and let Morris Dees and his cabal of Big Government elitists destroy the principles of freedom in our land.

So, people such as Morris Dees can put us on as many lists as they like; we will never let liberty die! And the more they try to demonize us, the more people will want to join with us. You see, freedom burns deep and strong in the hearts of real Americans. And that's something the SPLC can't extinguish--no matter how many lists it makes!

Johnstown, PA: Local and state police scoured the hills outside rural Johnstown, Pennsylvania, after reports of three animal rights activists going missing after attempting to protest the wearing of leather at a large motorcycle gang rally this weekend. Two others, previously reported missing, were discovered by fast food workers "duct taped inside several fast food restaurant dumpsters," according to police officials.

"Something just went wrong," said a still visibly shaken organizer of the protest. "Something just went horribly, horribly, wrong."

The organizer said a group of concerned animal rights activist groups, "growing tired of throwing fake blood and shouting profanities at older Women wearing leather or fur coats," decided to protest the annual motorcycle club event "in a hope to show them our outrage at their wanton use of leather in their clothing and motor bike seats." "In fact," said the organizer.. "motorcycle gangs are one of the biggest abusers of wearing Leather, and we decided it was high time that we let them know that we disagree with them using it... Ergo, they should stop."

According to witnesses, protesters arrived at the event in a vintage 1960's era Volkswagen van and began to pelt the gang members with balloons filled with red colored water, simulating blood, and shouting "you're murderers" to passersby.. This, evidently, is when the brouhaha began. "They peed on me!!!" charged one activist. "They grabbed me, said I looked like I was French, started calling me 'La Trene', and duct taped me to a tree so they could pee on me all day!"

"I . . . . I was trying to show my outrage at a man with a heavy leather jacket. And, he. . . . He didn't even care. I called him a murderer, and all he said was, 'You can't prove that!' Next thing I know is he threatened to force me to ride on the back of his motorcycle all day, and not left me off, because his girl friend was out of town and I was almost a woman."

Still others claimed they were forced to eat hamburgers and hot dogs under duress. Those who resisted were allegedly held down while several bikers "farted on their heads." Police officials declined comments on any leads or arrests due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, however, organizers for the motorcycle club rally expressed "surprise" at the allegations.

"That's preposterous, " said one high ranking member of the biker organizing committee. "We were having a party, and these people showed up and were very rude to us. They threw things at us, called us names, and tried to ruin the entire event. So, what did we do? We invited them to the party! What could be more friendly than that? You know, just because we are all members of motorcycle clubs does not mean we do not care about inclusiveness. Personally, I think it shows a lack of character for them to be saying such nasty things about us after we bent over backwards to make them feel Welcome."

When confronted with the allegations of force feeding the activists meat, using them as ad hoc latrines, leaving them incapacitated in fast food restaurant dumpsters, and 'farting on their heads,' the organizer declined to comment in more detail. "That's just our secret handshake," assured the organizer.

America truly is the Greatest Country in the World. Don't Let Freedom Slip Away

What I am about to tell you is something you've probably never heard or will
ever read in history books.

I believe that I am an eyewitness to history. I cannot tell you that Hitler took
Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide 98% of the vote.. I've never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.

In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates.

Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn't want to work; there simply weren't any jobs. My mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need. Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people - about 30 daily.

The Communist Party and the National Socialist Party were fighting each other.. Blocks and blocks of cities like Vienna , Linz , and Graz were destroyed. The people became desperate and petitioned the government to let them decide what kind of government they wanted.

We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany , where Hitler had been in power
since 1933. We had been told that they didn't have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living. Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group -- Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria . We were promised that a vote for Hitler
would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back. Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany and have Hitler for our
ruler.

We were overjoyed, and for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed.

After the election, German officials were appointed, and like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order. Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed. The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service.

Hitler decided we should have equal rights for women. Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home. An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldn't support his family. Many women in the teaching profession were elated that they could retain the jobs they previously
had been required to give up for marriage.

Hitler Targets Education - Eliminates Religious Instruction for Children:
Our education was nationalized. I attended a very good public school. The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitler's picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldn't pray or have religion anymore. Instead, we sang "Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles," and had physical education.

Sunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance. Parents were not
pleased about the sudden change in curriculum. They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time. The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail. The first two hours consisted of political indoctrination. The rest of the day we had sports. As time went along, we loved it. Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free. We would go home and gleefully tell our
parents about the wonderful time we had.

My mother was very unhappy. When the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent. I told her she couldn't do that and she told me that someday when I grew up, I would be grateful. There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun - no sports, and no political indoctrination. I hated it at first but felt I could tolerate it. Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home. I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing. Their loose lifestyle was very alarming to me. They lived without
religion. By that time unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler. It seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly. As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasn't exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.

Equal Rights Hits Home:
In 1939, the war started and a food bank was established. All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps. At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant if you didn't work, you didn't get a ration card, and if you didn't have a card, you starved to death. Women who stayed home to raise their
families didn't have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.

Soon after this, the draft was implemented. It was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps. During the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys. They were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and
participated in the signal corps. After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines. When I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat. Three months before I turned 18, I was
severely injured in an air raid attack. I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.

Hitler Restructured the Family Through Daycare:
When the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately
established child care centers. You could take your children ages 4 weeks to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, 7 days a week, under the total care of the government. The state raised a whole generation of children.. There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology. By this time, no one talked about equal rights. We knew we had been had.

Health Care and Small Business Suffer Under Government Controls:
Before Hitler, we had very good medical care. Many American doctors trained at the University of Vienna . After Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone. Doctors were salaried by the government. The problem was, since it was
free, the people were going to the doctors for everything. When the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full. If you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn. There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine. Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and emigrated to other countries.

As for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80% of our income. Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household. We had big programs for families. All day care and education were free. High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing.

We had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables. Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldn't meet all the demands. Soon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.

We had consumer protection. We were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the live-stock, then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.

"Mercy Killing" Redefined:
In 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps. The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated. So people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded. When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work. I knew one, named Vincent, very well. He was a janitor of the school. One day I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van. I asked my superior where they were going. She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a
trade, and to read and write. The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months. They were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.

As time passed, letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death. The villagers were not fooled. We suspected what was happening. Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months. We called this euthanasia.

The Final Steps - Gun Laws:
Next came gun registration.. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long after-wards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.

No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.

Totalitarianism didn't come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria . Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable
that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.

After World War II, Russian troops occupied Austria . Women were raped, preteen to elderly. The press never wrote about this either. When the Soviets left in 1955, they took everything that they could, dismantling whole factories in the process. They sawed down whole orchards of fruit, and what they couldn't destroy, they burned. We called it The Burned Earth. Most of the population barricaded themselves in their houses. Women hid in their cellars for 6 weeks as the troops mobilized. Those who couldn't, paid the price. There is a monument in Vienna today, dedicated to those women who were massacred by the Russians. This is an eye witness account.

(g)(1) The Secretary shall establish a national medical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the ‘registry’) to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and outcomes data on each device that— ‘‘(A) is or has been used in or on a patient; ‘‘(B)and is— ‘‘(i) a class III device; or ‘‘(ii) a class II device that is implantable, life-supporting, or life-sustaining.”

Then on page 1004 it describes what the term “data” means in paragraph 1,

section B:
‘‘(B) In this paragraph, the term ‘data’ refers to information respecting a device described in paragraph (1), including claims data, patient survey data, standardized analytic files that allow for the pooling and analysis of data from disparate data environments, electronic health records, and any other data deemed appropriate by the Secretary”

What exactly is a class II device that is implantable? Approved by the FDA, a class II implantable device is an “implantable radio frequency transponder system for patient identification and health information.” The purpose of a class II device is to collect data in medical patients such as “claims data, patient survey data, standardized analytic files that allow for the pooling and analysis of data from disparate data environments, electronic health records, and any other data deemed appropriate by the Secretary.”

A Kenyan lawmaker told the nation's parliament last month that Barack Obama was born in Africa and is therefore "not even a native American."

During debate over the draft of a new Kenyan constitution, James Orengo, the country's minister of lands and a member of parliament for the Ugenya constituency, cited America's election of a Kenyan-born president as an example of what can be accomplished when diverse peoples unite:

"If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation," Orengo posited, "how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the president of America?"

Orengo held up the U.S. as a country no longer "living in the past," since Americans elected a Kenyan-born president without regard to "ethnic consideration and objectives."

Debate is then recorded in the Kenyan government's official March 25, 2010, hansard – a traditional name for printed transcripts of a parliamentary debate – as continuing with no other MPs mentioning or attempting to correct Orengo's comments about Obama.

As WND has reported, several other sources – including National Public Radio – have claimed Obama's birthplace as Kenya prior to his election as president.

WND also reported when a video appeared in which Michelle Obama said her husband's "home country" was Kenya, though her comments didn't specifically suggest his birth there.

The video, posted April 3 on YouTube and forwarded by a score of Internet e-mails, shows Michelle Obama saying, "When we took our trip to Africa and visited his home country in Kenya, we took a public HIV test."

The reference drew attention because of the claim made in numerous lawsuits and other challenges to Obama's occupancy of the Oval Office that he is not eligible to be president under the requirement of Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution that the president be a "natural born citizen."

But the NPR reference and Michelle Obama's comment are far from the only ones of their kind.

At one point, there were reports that even Obama's grandmother claimed being in attendance at his birth in Africa.

According to a compilation of images at a military forum, another reference was made in 2008 in the Nigerian Observer.

Under a byline from Solomon Asowata and a Washington dateline, the report says, "Americans will today go to the polls to elect their next president with Democratic Party candidate, Senator Barack Obama largely favoured to win. The Kenyan-born Senator will, however, face a stiff competition from his Republican counterpart…"

A commentary at The Post & Email website said, "It is no wonder that many doubt Obama's claim of a Hawaiian birth."

It cited another report from African Travel Magazine that said, "As Kenyan born U.S. Senator Barack Obama jets into Kenya today as part of his African tour, concerns have once again been raised on the security preparations for other visitors and residents. ...."

The Post & Email commentary also cited a report from Indonesia Matters that includes similar references.
WND documented earlier several other statements linking Obama and Kenya.

These included the apparently archived article from the Sunday Standard in Kenya.

The report begins, "Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack (sic) Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations."

The article is credited to the wire service Associated Press at the bottom of the page. However, the article could not be found either in the AP archives available to the public online or the archive on the newspaper's website. WND telephone calls and e-mails to the newspaper did not generate a response.

Last year, an African news site and an MSNBC broadcaster referred to President Obama's birthplace as being outside of the United States.

Network correspondent Mara Schiavocampo was reporting on the celebratory atmosphere in Accra, Ghana, immediately prior to Obama's visit to the west African nation.

Interviewing a person who appeared to be a shop operator, she stated, "Barack Obama is Kenyan … but Ghanaians are still proud of him."

Also, a report at Modern Ghana posted in advance of the president's visit cited his birthplace on the continent of Africa.

"For Ghana, Obama's visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American President on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth," the report said.

WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.

Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.

Complicating the situation is Obama's decision to spend sums exceeding $1.7 million to avoid releasing an original long-form state birth certificate that would put to rest the questions.

WND also has reported that among the documentation not yet available for Obama includes his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records.

Because of the dearth of information about Obama's eligibility, WND founder Joseph Farah has launched a campaign to raise contributions to post billboards asking a simple question: "Where's the birth certificate?"

WND also reported previously when Michelle Obama contradicted Obama's story that he lived with his mother and father for several years in Hawaii after he was born before his father left to pursue a graduate degree.

Michelle Obama said her husband's mother, Ann Dunham, was "very young and very single" when she gave birth to the future U.S. president.

Her comments undermine the official story as told by Barack Obama – that Dunham was married to his father, Barack Obama Sr., at the time of birth.

The remarks were made by Michelle Obama during a July 2008 round table at the University of Missouri. Obama was responding to criticism of her husband's presidential campaign speeches about fatherhood and faith-based initiatives.

I was in my neighborhood restaurant this morning and was seated behind a group of jubilant individuals celebrating the successful passing of the recent health care bill. I could not finish my breakfast. This is what ensued:

They were a diverse group of several races and both sexes. I heard the young man exclaim, "Isn't Obama like Jesus Christ? I mean, after all, he is healing the sick." The young woman enthusiastically proclaimed, "Yeah, and he does it for free. I cannot believe anyone would think that a free market would work for health care. They are all crooks and thieves and don't deserve all of that money." Another said, 'The stupid Republicans want us all to starve to death so they can inherit all of the power. Obama should be made a Saint for what he did for those of us less fortunate." At this, I had had enough.

I arose from my seat, mustering all the restraint I could find, and approached their table. "Please excuse me; may I impose upon you for one moment?" They smiled and welcomed me to the conversation. I stood at the end of their table, smiled as best I could and began an experiment.

"I would like to give one of you my house. It will cost you no money and I will pay all of the expenses and taxes for as long as you live there. Anyone interested?" They looked at each other in astonishment. "Why would you do something like that?" asked a young man, "There isn't anything for free in this world." They began to laugh at me, as they did not realize this man had just made my point. "I am serious, I will give you my house for free, no money what so ever. Anyone interested?" In unison, a resounding "Hell Yeah" fills the room.

"Since there are too many of you, I will have to make a choice as to who receives this money free bargain." I noticed an elderly couple was paying attention to the spectacle unfolding before their eyes, the old man shaking his head in apparent disgust.. "I tell you what; I will give it to the one of you most willing to obey my rules." Again, they looked at one another, an expression of bewilderment on their faces. The perky young woman asked, "What are the rules?" I smiled and said, "I don't know. I have not yet defined them. However, it is a free home that I offer you." They giggled amongst themselves, the youngest of which said, "What an old coot. He must be crazy to give away his home. Go take your meds, old man." I smiled and leaned into the table a bit further. "I am serious, this is a legitimate offer." They gaped at me for a moment.

"I'll take it you old fool. Where are the keys?" boasted the youngest among them. "Then I presume you accept ALL of my terms then?" I asked. The elderly couple seemed amused and entertained as they watched from the privacy of their table. "Oh hell yeah! Where do I sign up?" I took a napkin and wrote, "I give this man my home, without the burden of financial obligation, so long as he accepts and abides by the terms that I shall set forth upon consummation of this transaction." I signed it and handed it to the young man who eagerly scratched out his signature. "Where are the keys to my new house?" he asked in a mocking tone of voice. All eyes were upon us as I stepped back from the table, pulling the keys from pocket and dangling them before the excited new homeowner.

"Now that we have entered into this binding contract, witnessed by all of your friends, I have decided upon the conditions you are obligated to adhere from this point forward. You may only live in the house for one hour a day. You will not use anything inside of the home. You will obey me without question or resistance. I expect complete loyalty and admiration for this gift I bestow upon you. You will accept my commands and wishes with enthusiasm, no matter the nature. Your morals and principles shall be as mine. You will vote as I do, think as I do and do it with blind faith. These are my terms. Here are your keys." I reached the keys forward and the young man looked at me dumb founded.

"Are you out of your mind? Who would ever agree to those ridiculous terms?" the young man appeared irritated. "You did when you signed this contract before reading it, understanding it and with the full knowledge that I would provide my conditions only after you committed to the agreement." Was all I said. The elderly man chuckled as his wife tried to restrain him. I was looking at a now silenced and bewildered group of people. "You can shove that stupid deal up you're a** old man, I want no part of it" exclaimed the now infuriated young man. "You have committed to the contract, as witnessed by all of your friends; you cannot get out of the deal unless I agree to it. I do not intend to let you free now that I have you ensnared. I am the power you agreed to. I am the one you blindly and without thought chose to enslave yourself to. In short, I am your Master." At this, the table of celebrating individuals became a unified group against the unfairness of the deal.

After a few moments of unrepeatable comments and slurs, I revealed my true intent. "What I did to you is what this administration and congress did to you with the health care legislation. I easily suckered you in and then revealed the real cost of the bargain. Your folly was in the belief that you can have something you did not earn; that you are entitled to that which you did not earn; that you willingly allowed someone else to think for you. Your failure to research, study and inform yourself permitted reason to escape you. You have entered into a trap from which you cannot flee. Your only chance of freedom is if your new Master gives it to you. A freedom that is given can also be taken away; therefore, it is not freedom." With that, I tore up the napkin and placed it before the astonished young man. "This is the nature of your new health care legislation."

I turned away to leave these few in thought and contemplation and was surprised by applause. The elderly gentleman, who was clearly entertained, shook my hand enthusiastically and said, "Thank you Sir, these kids don't understand Liberty these days." He refused to allow me to pay my bill as he said, "You earned this one, it is an honor to pickup the tab." I shook his hand in thanks, leaving the restaurant somewhat humbled, and sensing a glimmer of hope for my beloved country.

The anointed one, the ‘smartest president ever’ is a mere cardboard cut out, caricature of a man. We all know Obama won’t release his birth certificate. So what? We know he won’t release his transcripts, big deal (Even John Kerry released his “D“ laden transcripts). We know he was not a professor or Constitutional scholar. Well, we know it now. B. Hussein Obama was an instructor, a lecturer, not a professor. The professors, the real professors disliked the man-child and did not want him around. Chicago law school faculty have described Obama as ‘lazy, unqualified, never attending meetings and using his politically appointed position as a mere stepping stone’. Barry applied for a position as adjunct professor and was never considered for it. However, a few weeks later the Board of Trustees called the law school and told them ‘find him an office, put him on the payroll and find a class for him to teach’. Professor(s) described him as having ‘the lowest intellect’ in the building. It is doubted that Obama was the editor of the Harvard Law Review. Obama’s fraudulent past exposed:

Was he the editor of the Harvard Law Review: If so, he was the first editor of an Ivy League Law Review to never publish an article in the journal he allegedly edited.

B. Hussein Obama, the alleged former editor of the Harvard Law Review: Has not been an attorney since 2008 when he surrendered his law license to escape fraud charges.

Charges against B. Hussein Obama: Knowingly making a misstatement of material fact in applying for his license. Committing a criminal act that reflects poorly upon his fitness to practice law. Conduct involving dishonesty, deceit, fraud and misrepresentation. Engaging in prejudicial activity. Engaging in activity that brings the courts into disrepute.

Constitutional Law Professor: Not exactly. The Chicago Sun Times reports that Obama wasn’t even a professor, he was an occasional lecturer.

University of Chicago Law School: In 2008 they released a statement calling Obama a law professor, then a spokesman confirmed he was a part time lecturer.

Former Lecturer: Obama, the former lecturer, during his State of the Union Address quoted from the Constitution he professes to have taught, except the quote was from the Declaration of Independence.

State of the Union Address: The Liar in Chief scolded the Supreme Court for a case, giving an example of how they blew it, except the example was “not true”. He also managed to call our “unalienable rights” ‘notions’ and ‘promises’.

When you are a fraud, it is hard to keep the facts straight.

Obama, the most “transparent” president ever (just ask him, he will tell you), ordered his bar records redacted, leaving a mere trace record of him. The Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission has been wiped clean as well.

First Lady, Michelle Obama “voluntarily surrendered” her law license in 1993. Voluntarily surrendering ones license is something that is typically done in exchange for whatever wrong doing you are about to be found guilty of, being dropped. Bill Clinton “voluntarily surrendered” his law license too, right before it was taken from him.

So, we have a president who lied about his being editor, lied about his being a professor and Constitutional professor, lied during the State of the Union Address, and surrendered his law license after being charged with serious offenses and major character flaws. Combine this with his unwillingness to release his transcripts, despite John Kerry releasing his transcripts, filled with “D’s” and Obama’s campaign website, which contained his ‘resume’ for the position of president, which only listed five dates of notoriety, one of which is his birth date and a portrait of a serial liar, fraud and unethical person emerges.

B. Hussein Obama has violated the law, the Constitution and his oath of office in incidents too many to list. He has lied to Congress, the Supreme Court, and the American people. Dear Leader has appointed people to positions of power within the White House, without having them approved by the Senate. What laws he has not broken, he has circumvented, up to and including the health care bill. The legislative and executive branch of the government are to remain separate. The president is not to hold “Health Care Summits” and try to influence the legislative process. The president is to approve or veto legislation as it comes out of Congress. Impeach Obama now. Do not wait. Every day that passes and articles of impeachment are not filed against B. Hussein Obama is a day each member of the House of Representatives is in violation of their oath of office.

Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to see
the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get into
God's Word. Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th
chapter of Genesis, we'll begin our reading at verse 13, and go
through verse 27.
Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us?
....(reading)...
Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray... So we see that
economic hard times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to
the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh
nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great
storehouses
that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a
great tax increase, and gave it all to him willingly in return for
grain. And this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again.
So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their
livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey -
to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through
the end of that year..
But the famine wasn't over, was it? So the next year, the people
came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except
their land and their own lives. "There is nothing left in the sight
of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before
your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food,
and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh.." So they
surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to
Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery
to him, in return for grain. What can we learn from this, brothers
and sisters?
That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider
in hard times only leads to slavery? Yes.. That the only reason
government wants to be our provider is to also become our master?
Yes.
But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel
settled in the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen .. And they gained
possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God
provided for His people, just as He always has! They didn't end up
giving all their possessions to government, no, it says they gained
possessions! But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous
one. We see the same thing happening today - the government today
wants to "share the wealth "once again, to take it from us and
redistribute it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare,
just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us,
and when government rations it, then government decides who gets it,
and how much, and what kind. And if we go along with it, and do it
willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people of
Egypt did four thousand years ago - as slaves to the government,
and as slaves to our leaders. What Mr. Obama's government is doing
now is no different from what Pharaoh's government did then, and it
will end the same. And a lot of people like to call Mr. Obama a
"Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah? A savior? Didn't the
Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves, "You have saved
our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"?
Well, I tell you this - I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend
of mine; and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, brothers and sisters,
if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh.
Bow with me in prayer, if you will.
Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You
alone.
We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never
rightly will be.
We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the
people of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will
cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but
the LORD will not answer you in that day." And Lord, we acknowledge
that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have
chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray
for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our
masters.
Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people
from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government.

Investigation reveals numerous bogus claims on Obama resume

I brought this story over from Anthony G. Martin at the Conservative Examiner. I could have re-wrote it, but it would not have the impact, the facts are starting to surface on our so called president. In what is being called 'the biggest hustle in human history,' a special investigation has discovered numerous bogus claims on Barack Obama's resume, including the outright lie that he was a 'Constitutional scholar and professor.' The claim turns out to be false.

As investigators delve further into the background of Barack Obama, a disturbing picture is emerging of a man who is not who he claims to be. The information the public has been told concerning Obama is turning out to be false--fabrications and inventions of a man and an unseen force behind him that had clear ulterior motives for seeking the highest office in the land.

According to a special report issued by 'the Blogging Professor,' the Chicago Law School faculty hated Obama. The report states that Obama was unqualified, that he was never a 'constitutional professor and scholar,' and that he never served as editor of the Harvard Law Review while a student at the school.

The real truth is that Barack Obama was merely an 'instructor' at Chicago Law School, not a professor. Commonly, instructors are non-tenure-track teachers hired by colleges and universities to teach certain courses for a salary that is well below that of Associate Professors or full Professors.

In the hierarchy of higher education, the status of instructors is below that of associate professors and professors because they lack the credentials.

In fact, it can be safely concluded that the claims of Barack Obama concerning his educational credentials and work history in higher education are a complete sham. The President of the United States is a complete fraud.

According to Doug Ross:

I spent some time with the highest tenured faculty member at Chicago Law a few months back, and he did not have many nice things to say about "Barry." Obama applied for a position as an adjunct and wasn't even considered. A few weeks later the law school got a phone call from the Board of Trustees telling them to find him an office, put him on the payroll, and give him a class to teach. The Board told him he didn't have to be a member of the faculty, but they needed to give him a temporary position. He was never a professor and was hardly an adjunct.

The other professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified, never attended any of the faculty meetings, and it was clear that the position was nothing more than a political stepping stool. According to my professor friend, he had the lowest intellectual capacity in the building. He also doubted whether he was legitimately an editor on the Harvard Law Review, because if he was, he would be the first and only editor of an Ivy League law review to never be published while in school (publication is or was a requirement).
Thus, the question arises, was the claim that Obama was editor of the Harvard Law Review a 'put-up job' as well, allowing the student to claim he held this prestigious position without having the qualifications or meeting the requirements of holding that position? And why?

Further,

Consider this: 1. President Barack Obama, former editor of the Harvard Law Review, is no longer a "lawyer". He surrendered his license back in 2008 possibly to escape charges that he "fibbed" on his bar application.

2. Michelle Obama "voluntarily surrendered" her law license in 1993.

3. So, we have the President and First Lady - who don't actually have licenses to practice law. Facts.

4. A senior lecturer is one thing. A fully ranked law professor is another. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, "Obama did NOT 'hold the title' of a University of Chicago law school professor". Barack Obama was NOT a Constitutional Law professor at the University of Chicago.

5. The University of Chicago released a statement in March, 2008 saying Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) "served as a professor" in the law school, but that is a title Obama, who taught courses there part-time, never held, a spokesman for the school confirmed in 2008.
These are highly disturbing facts, verified facts from the people who know at the Chicago Law School.

6. "He did not hold the title of professor of law," said Marsha Ferziger Nagorsky, an Assistant Dean for Communications and Lecturer in Law at the University of Chicago School of Law.

7. The former Constitutional senior lecturer cited the U.S. Constitution recently during his State of the Union Address. Unfortunately, the quote he cited was from the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.

9. In the State of the Union Address, President Obama said: "We find unity in our incredible diversity, drawing on the promise enshrined in ourConstitution: the notion that we are all created equal."

10. By the way, the promises are not a notion, our founders named them unalienable rights. The document is our Declaration of Independence and it reads: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

11. And this is the same guy who lectured the Supreme Court moments later in the same speech?

When you are a phony it's hard to keep facts straight.

Obama has made sure that all of his records are sealed tight. And apart from the courageous souls at the various educational institutions who dared to speak the truth, the schools Obama claimed to attend unanimously refuse to release transcripts, records, or other bits of evidence concerning Obama's presence in their institutions.

BREAKING DEVELOPMENT--just as these disturbing facts come to light about Barack Obama, the White House is busy making deals with numerous 'journalists,' promising unprecedented access to the President in exchange for refraining from reporting certain information 'they may discover.'

I read an article this morning by Humberto Fontova and have combined his comments with my own here. If you don't know who Che Guevara is, I suggest you take a moment and look him up to see what kind of a man Apple is idolizing here, frankly it makes me sick that Americans look up to such a persons.

There have been more than 200 companies that have joined a boycott of Glenn Beck’s program, according to the Washington Post. Geez, you see how it is affecting Beck and Fox. NOT! There are a handful of advertisers, such as (IPhone owner) Apple, who have abandoned Fox altogether....but after you finish reading this, you will understand that Beck, Fox, me and millions of patriotic Americans could care less!

We can only assume this Apple “boycott” was prompted by what CBS’s Katie Couric (quoting the Fox commentator’s critics) describes as Beck’s “inflammatory, unfair, despicable, hateful rhetoric.” Yeah, and Couric would know all about those comments...just take a look in the mirror Couric to see who actually fits that description to a tee and then do us all a favor, get on your broom, pick up Hillary and Pelosi and be on your way out of America!

Now you can carry around quotes like “The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall,” from Che Guevara on your iPhone. Guevara, launched Feb. 12 for $0.99 or €.79, is the latest app in the iTunes store to capitalize on lightning rod figures. I personally have never purchased anything from the iTunes store, and never will!

Alas, many of us, though not customers of this unquestionably hip product, suspect that most of Che Guevara’s hippest quotes are missing from this hippest of iPhone apps, but I am sure it won't be long before they show up! Among those we fear were overlooked by the hyper-sensitive-to-hate-speech, Apple are:

Here’s a man who folks call a “guerrilla hero” who in real life never fought in a guerrilla war. When he finally brushed up against one, he was routed and surrendered as nothing more than a sniveling, whimpering wreck.

This man was a cold-blooded murderer who executed thousands without trial, who claimed that judicial evidence was an “unnecessary bourgeois detail,” who stressed that “revolutionaries must become cold-killing machines motivated by pure hate,” who stayed up till dawn for months at a time signing death warrants for innocent and honorable men, whose office in La Cabana had a window where he could watch the executions – and today his T-shirts adorn people who oppose capital punishment!

Che excelled in one thing: mass murder of defenseless men. He was a Stalinist to the core, a plodding bureaucrat and a calm, cold-blooded – but again, never in actual battle – killer. Che’s true legacy is simply one of terror, murder and sniveling cowardice.

Apple, we trust, will soon become as sensitive to torture and mass-murder by the Stalinist who craved to incinerate the nation that headquarters their office and facilitates their profits, as they claim to be over a few wisecracks by Fox commentators.

For me, I see this as an opportunity to never for the rest of my lifetime purchase any Apple products come hell or high water. The way I see it is that any company who would idolize, capitalize on and offer praise to a mass-murdering commie like Che Guevara in my opinion needs to pack their bags and get out of America, take your business to Cuba and lets see just how long you Marxist bastards can survive!

How could they not see what this guy was all about. If you couldn't see, all you had to do was take the time to read about him and all the corruption that has followed him around for years before he managed to slide into the White House. Banished! City Forbids Bible Studies in Homes!

The City of Gilbert, Ariz., has ordered a group of seven adults to stop gathering for Bible studies in a private home because such meetings are forbidden by the city's zoning codes. No, I am not making this up!!!

The issue was brought to a head when city officials wrote a letter to a pastor and his wife informing them they had 10 days to quit having the meetings in their private home. The letter specifically states: "This letter will serve as a 10-day written notice to quit such use."

It bans the some 200,000 Gilbert residents from meeting in their private homes for organized religious purposes, an activity encouraged and practiced for thousands of years on this Continent and is totally protected by the First Amendment.

Do you see the pattern here....at a very rabid pace the politicians are working feverishly to take and control the citizens of this country something they have no right or business to act in this manor. The city of Gilbert needs an enema and I hope the residents are ready to administer it!!

Wyoming Governor Signs Sovereignty Resolution

This week, Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal signed House Joint Resolution 2 (HJ0002), claiming “sovereignty on behalf of the State of Wyoming and for its citizens under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government or reserved to the people by the Constitution of the United States.”

Freudenthal, a long-time Democrat, was previously a US attorney for the Clinton administration, and is currently serving his 2nd term as Governor of Wyoming. He endorsed Barack Obama for president and is commonly referred to as one of the most popular governors in the country.

In a memorandum sent to the Wyoming legislature in late January, Freudenthal made clear his position that the federal government has gone beyond the limits of the constitution:

“For decades we have shared increased frustration dealing with the federal government and its agencies. What started out as a leak in the erosion of state prerogative and independence has today turned into a flood. From wolf and grizzly bear management, to gun control, to endless regulation and unfunded mandates – the federal government has become far too powerful and intrusive.”

Once brought to a vote this year, the legislature showed little opposition to sending a notice to D.C. that the federal government is overstepping its constitutional authority. The Senate passed it by a vote of 26-4 and the House by a vote of 56-4.

NOTICE AND DEMAND

These non-binding resolutions, often called “state sovereignty resolutions” do not carry the force of law. Instead, they are intended to be a statement of the legislature of the state. They play an important role, however.

For example, if you owned an apartment building and had a tenant not paying rent, you wouldn’t show up with an empty truck to kick them out without first serving notice. That’s how we view these Resolutions – as serving “notice and demand” to the Federal Government to “cease and desist any and all activities outside the scope of their constitutionally-delegated powers.” Follow-up, of course, is a must.

House Joint Resolution 2 includes language to this effect:

That this resolution serve as notice and demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, from enacting mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers. The state of Wyoming will not enforce such mandates. [emphasis added]

Wyoming joins 10 other states that have passed similar resolutions since last year; Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Tennessee passed theirs in 2009, and Utah, Alabama, and South Carolina have joined Wyoming in passing resolutions this year.

A GROWING MOVEMENT

These resolutions are part of a growing grassroots movement in state legislatures across the country as a protest to the intrusion of the federal government into state government affairs, and is an essential first step towards efforts to push back, or nullify, unconstitutional federal laws and regulations.

Supporters of such legislation point to laws passed by other states that take the next step – and work to nullify specific federal laws seen as unconstitutional by the state. Fourteen states have now defied federal laws on marijuana. Two dozen states have refused to comply with the Bush-era Real ID Act, rendering that 2005 law virtually null and void today. The legislatures in both Virginia and Arizona have passed legislation effectively nullifying a national health care plan within their borders. Three states have already signed a “Firearms Freedom Act” into law, and Governor Freudenthal is expected to sign HB95 to make Wyoming the fourth.

Resolutions, guns, national ID cards, and weed might be just the early stages of a quickly growing movement to nullify other federal laws seen as outside the scope of their constitutionally-delegated powers. In states around the country this year, bills have been proposed to defy or nullify federal laws on health care, use of national guard troops overseas, legal tender laws, cap and trade, and even the process of collecting federal income taxes.

The final goal? It’s a long way off – a federal government that follows the strict limits of the constitution, whether it wants to or not.

Senate Bill 6 - Florida

Here is a statement made on Mitt Romney's facebook page, I felt it needed to be presented to you as well as my response, I welcome your opinions:

"If you are a teacher, know a teacher, ♥ a teacher, want to become a teacher, were taught by a teacher - Be aware of Senate Bill 6 that FL Senators are trying to pass! It will place the pay of educators in the hands of student's test scores, taking no regard for years of service & advanced degrees. This would jeopardize... the jobs of our best teachers & force our children to take more tests! Write & tell them NO today!"

Sounds like someone lacks the confindence or abilities to teach properly. You know what? My sister is a teacher and a damn good one, but she is not the norm nowadays and frankly teachers should be upheld to proper education in public schools, if this is not going to happen, then the state needs to issue vouchers so parents can take their children to a private institution where they will get the best possible education and if keeping public schools accountable and teachers in line, then test scores should be a deciding factor along with elimination of tenure and the eliminations of the thousands of un-necessary school boards where superintendents are making big bucks to sit on their big fat butts and do nothing. The government has succeeded in ruining education; I say it is about time that teachers, students and parents be held accountable and that government and unions need to be taken out of the equation. The nations test scores are a disgrace and lowering the bar to make sure students pass is not the answer as the government sees it, accountability is. This will require the "get involved" mentality, but then for me that has never been an issue and is still not and frankly I managed to get more than one principal and several teachers removed from the system permanently during my days on this planet and I am not above taking a few more down on behalf of the kids who go to school to learn!
Government feels they have an umbilical cord running to every child in this country and have made it impossible for discipline to take place dictation what can and can't be done with our kids, hence we have so many kids running around doing whatever they please because they know that there is nothing that can be done about it. They drop out, join gangs, rob, steal, murder etc. and yet our government is too stupid to see what they are creating.....or are they?????

People, people, people.....you have got to stop rationalizing here. Drugs kill people and that's a fact. Drugs destroy families and people’s lives and that's a fact, and although cost is a problem, that is not the main cause or ruin to people’s lives. If you do drugs you are going to always be for legalization and some folks who don’t do drugs feel the same way maybe because they have a family member who does drugs.

Let’s take a look at Amsterdam where they took a different approach to the problem by setting up government run drug houses where they give the junkie a fix through a clean needle. Some of the drugs in Amsterdam are still illegal but tolerated, but you have all those who are constantly strung out on drugs being cared for day and night by the government…that’s you folks, that means more tax dollars to support those who feel the need to have you pay for their problems.

Alcohol is legal in this country and how many people die at the hands of drunk drivers every year? If drug use is legalized how many more people will be killed at the hands of someone who is stoned or so messed up that they drive like they are drunk? Should I subject myself, my wife, my children, my grandchildren and my friends to this harsh reality and legalize drugs and take my chances even more than I do right now? If you say that is not relevant, you have obviously never lost someone to the antics of a drunk driver, or you are brain dead.

People are irresponsible, they drink and drive, they text and drive, they will do drugs and drive, in other words they kill people! So, instead of making texting illegal as has had to be done in this country, should we just legalize it and continue to allow people to get killed by irresponsible drivers? Why should we have to have a law that says it’s illegal to text and drive….why aren’t people responsible enough to figure that out on their own without the government having to step in and pass a law that makes it illegal?

Question: If I were to approach you carrying a gunny sack with something moving inside and then told you that I had a very large rattlesnake inside and that I would give you a $100.00 dollar bill if you would stick your hand and arm into the bag and touch the snake, would you??? Well, would you????? Hell no you wouldn’t, unless you are a total whack job and if that’s the case you’re gonna need the $100.00 to get yourself to a hospital really really fast, cause I really do have a rattle snake in that bag! We are talking about the same thing here!

What about the bar owner who serves the guy sitting at the bar a half dozen drinks and then allows him to leave the bar, knowing full well that the chances of him getting into a car and driving is about 99%. Now if you owned a bar that had a one way door that allowed them in but not out till the next morning so you were not putting them on the streets after serving them a half dozen drinks I would not have a problem with that, but that is not the case. Should the bar owner be required to have someone who escorts every patron out the door and into a cab? Well, frankly if I owned a bar, that is exactly what would be going on. You wanna drink, you hand over the car keys before you start, you can come back the next day and get your keys and your car because frankly I would not want on my conscience that I sent him out onto the streets and he ran over and killed your sister!!

You will never get people to become responsible for their actions especially when they are so drunk or stoned they don't even know who they are, so legalizing drugs is a waste of time and life and I am afraid that is a cold hard fact.

We have prisons that are housing a population of at least 50% non violent offenders, meaning drug offenses of one type or another; this is a huge problem due to the enormous amounts of money that is being spent to house these people who cannot be responsible enough to stay out of prison. So what's the answer? Do we set up drug compounds where the government supplies the drugs and if you enter you cannot leave until you are straight? Geezz these people would never leave and now we are spending more tax dollars! Do you take away the drivers license so they can't drive, which you and I both know that they will do anyway with or without a license? Do you legalize drugs and "force the criminal element to adapt or go out of business"? Not likely, because the drug lords will just find some new illegal substance to push and sell, and you know that is not a fantasy, cause if you take away their livelihood, they will find something bigger or better to replace it! I wanna know why these drug lords are not just picked up, put against the wall and shot! They have murdered so many people with their drugs that there should be no question about their guilt or innocence. I’ll tell you why, because when the government authorizes find the drug lord’s stash of money and weapons they confiscate it and then it belongs to them. The drug lords are back on the street in a short time and the process is repeated.

When I was a kid the prisons were executing people all the time, but now that all the bleeding heart liberals have got everyone running scared it is happening less and less all the time. Necessity is what drives people, and if they lose the necessity, they will find a replacement. So instead of trying to eliminate the drug problem, why not eliminate the source of the problem? We used to have bounty hunters in this country; dead or alive were what the posters said, why not institute the bounty hunter program and pay a bounty on the drug lords head? They find a drug dealer they eliminate him choosing the dead rather than the alive portion of the wanted poster. Maybe that’s the answer here! We have so many people that are so gung ho to have the government take care of everything for us, give us drugs, give us money, give us a place to live, hold our hand, blah blah blah, I’d rather reinstate the bounty hunters!

Drugs are dangerous, you know it, and I know it. MJ is probably the least dangerous but it becomes very dangerous when you climb behind the wheel of a vehicle, and you know this will happen. I have driven down the street of California many times and have spotted people smoking pot while they were driving….and yes, if there is any doubt, you could smell it! I have seen many people I have known over the years who had succumbed to drugs and or alcohol and spend their lives living like a walking zombie, or their minds are so scrambled that they are like 3 year olds most of the time, or even worse, they died, some of them by their own hand!

I would like to see a better way of doing things with the drug problem if for nothing else than to ease the amount of tax dollars that are wasted every day to enforce the laws. What is required here is that people take responsibility, but that is not going to happen, so until that day does become a reality, the fight to legalizing drugs is just another can of gasoline on the fire!

Up On My Soapbox!!

I'm gonna climb up on my soapbox this morning for a few minutes to offer my readers some sound and practical advice. As I have sat here watching the drama unfold in Haiti over the past few weeks, the earthquake in Japan yesterday, the 8.8 earthquake that has happened in Chile this morning, the potentially dangerous Tsunami that is headed for Hawaii, I can't help but see that God is sending the world many signs of his displeasure over the ways of the world and I don't see these disasters ceasing anytime soon.
My family is prepared for a disaster by making sure we have adequate food and water, paper goods, alternate electricity source, fuel storage and provisions, emergency radio and first aid supplies to care for and protect my family should we be confronted with an unforeseeable disaster or shortage.
Hawaii has been given a good six hour window to prepare for an approaching disaster and as I watch the television coverage, the people coming from the stores with basket loads of provisions in the event of being pinned down without electricity, food or water, I only hope that you will realize that the stores only carry so much merchandise and it is not enough to take care of all the citizens of Hawaii or Sacramento or Chili or any other location in the world, they will soon run out, the disaster strikes and then panic ensues. Looting, pillaging and whatever means soon become the norm as we saw in Haiti over the past few weeks.
I'm not saying that there is a disaster coming to a city near you, but what I am saying is that it is necessary to BE PREPARED!! Please!! Those of you who receive my posts regularly via email are my friends and family and I would never want to see any of you in a position where you could not take care of yourselves and your family members. Take the necessary time and effort to become prepared in the event of a disaster! Especially if you live in and area that is prone to natural disasters! Do it for me!! Do it for yourselves!! Do it for your family!!

Ft. Hood Terrorist Attack

"WASHINGTON - Army superiors were warned about the radicalization of Major Nidal Malik Hasan years before he allegedly massacred 13 soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, but did not act in part because they valued the rare diversity of having a Muslim psychiatrist, military investigators wrote in previously undisclosed reports.

An obvious “problem child’’ spouting extremist views, Hasan made numerous statements that were not protected by the First Amendment and were grounds for discharge by violating his military oath, investigators found.

Examples of Hasan’s radical behavior have previously been disclosed in press accounts based on interviews with unnamed Army officials, including his defense of suicide bombings and assertions that Islamic law took priority over his allegiance to the United States."

So, in other words.....the military investigation into the Ft. Hood terrorist attack has come to a conclusion that the rest of us already knew!

Democrats Launch Covert Assault on CIA

On Thursday night February 25, 2010 while no one was supposedly paying attention, the Democrats once again tried to slip a stealth attack on the intelligence community into a bill without letting anyone see or debate it. If the bill had passed, it would have criminalized virtually anything and everything the CIA does to interrogate terrorists other than politely asking them to provide information on their allies.

This would have meant that any CIA officer who even did something as harmless as putting a sack over a detainees head or using one of their phobias to gain information and getting them to talk would have put the officer in line for 15 years in federal prison.

Fortunately, Republicans caught the attempt and it started a huge uproar. The Democrats are doing everything in their power to compromise national defense and every level and in every conceivable way. These people are hell bent on creating another 9/11 and I for the life of me cannot understand why anyone would want to inflict that type of destruction upon anyone, especially their fellow countrymen.

This is textbook Nazi-ism, so many of the things the Democrats are doing fall directly in line with what the Nazi's did to gain control of Germany and lets not forget that at the time when the Nazi's fell, there was still at least half of the population that thought Hitler was doing a wonderful job, despite the millions of people he was murdering....guess that would fall in line with what Forrest Gumps mama used to say....."Stupid is as Stupid does.!"

The convenience of a cellular phone has brought with it an insurmountable problem of people being involved in and causing accidents. Various studies have shown that driving while using a cell phone can be as dangerous as driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. Estimates of the number of U.S. traffic deaths caused by cell phone talking while driving are generally in the 2,000 - 3,000 range with one hundred times as many injuries. Yes that is SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND accidents caused by cell phones. NOW, add in text messaging which is far far more dangerous! If you watch a person who is texting, they have absolutely no clue or awareness of what is going on around them, now put them in a car texting while driving! I have seen people walking and texting who have walked right into a light pole, they never saw it coming.....now put that same person in a car, driving, texting, and doing who knows whatever else while driving. This has got to stop people!! I worked in the cellular phone industry for over 20 years installing hands free devices to keep people focused on their driving. They were not perfect by any means, but they made a very big difference for those who used them and learned how to do voice dialing while keeping their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel!!

This picture speaks volumes and sadly, I saw an accident of this magnitude not too long ago when a semi pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with steel was going way over the speed limit, driver was texting and plowed into the back of a line of five cars without ever hitting the brakes until he was up to the 3rd car, taking out all of them and the three cars in the lane next to them. This is not a joke folks, if you can't stay off the phone, leave it home!

If your an offender, my only hope is that you stop at once before you kill or seriously hurt someone or turn out to be like the person who was texting in what's left of the vehicle pictured above......but I certainly wonder how many other lives the person who was driving and texting in this automobile took with them in this accident... cause it's for dang sure, no one got out alive!!

Hooray for Rhode Island!!

The Central Falls, Rhode Island School Board is standing up to the rampant union abuses that have bankrupted the system and destroyed the quality of education there. At present more than 50% of the students are failing every single class.
WOW!! They are firing every last over-paid, self-serving union parasite and the very few actual teachers that exist there at present. The motion was made by
Superintendent Frances Gallo yesterday to remove the failing teachers and the School Board promptly voted to affirm and all the Central Falls teachers will now be fired at the end of the school year. Hooray for Rhode Island!! It's about time that people are standing up for what is right! I would love to shake that woman's hand!

To address the school's inexcusable state of ruin, Superintendent Gallo introduced a plan to turn things around by slightly extending school hours and requiring teachers to do more tutoring. But the characteristically greedy, self-serving unions refused to budge an inch, pointing to the fact that these "teachers" had already improved math scores so much that a full 7% of the students are now proficient in math and the drop-out rate has plummeted all the way down to a mere 52%. 52%???? You have got to be kidding!!!!

I am glad to see that Gallo had the spine to stand up to these union morons and has taken them down before they can do any more damage to the town! This is what the unions do, they put these teachers in a position of "doesn't matter how you do your job, you can't get fired" and thus our kids are suffering at the hands of bad teachers being kept in jobs by the union goons.

I won't say that unions have never had a place in this country, because at one time they were very necessary, unfortunately, all the unions do nowadays is abuse the system at everyone else's expense in the name of power and wealth!

The 2010 Census

So, the Census Bureau, is about a month away from its 2010 population count and it has already wasted millions of dollars paying temporary employees who never did the work and others who over billed for travel. This information was according to an audit obtained by The Associated Press, you can see the report at the bottom of this post.

On a positive note, their words not mine, federal investigators said it was appropriate for the Census Bureau to spend $133 million on its advertising campaign, including $2.5 million for Super Bowl spots that some Republicans derided as wasteful. Why are we advertising the Census???? It comes in the mail every 10 friggen years, you fill it out, mail it back, you can lie and put whatever number you want on the form....and my bet is there are plenty of areas that are doing just that.

But Commerce Department inspector general Todd Zinser makes clear the government is at risk of wasting millions of additional dollars without tighter spending controls on its 1 million temporary workers. He stated that "the costs were substantial."
Substantial??? The census estimate to do a national head count is sitting around a $15 billion price tag....more wasted money that we don't have!!

Census Bureau spokesman Stephen Buckner of course had plenty of excuses about why the money has been waisted....got something to do with training costs and folks being let go without performing work. Buckner claims that the agency has made adjustments.....oh yeah, I'm buyin this!! He also stated that the bureau is "confident they have better estimates and cost controls in place." Oh, I'm fallin for this one...how about you????

Here are the audit findings:

_More than 10,000 census employees were paid more than $300 apiece to attend training for the massive address-canvassing effort, but they quit or were let go before they could perform any work. Cost: $3 million.

_Another 5,000 employees collected $300 for the same training but worked a single day or less. Cost $1.5 million.

_Twenty-three temporary census employees were paid for car mileage at 55 cents a mile, even though the number of miles they reported driving per hour exceeded the number of hours they actually worked.

_Another 581 employees who spent the majority of their time driving instead of conducting field work also received full mileage reimbursements, which investigators called questionable.

_Other temporary employees claimed nearly 3.9 million miles driven at the mileage reimbursement rate of 58.5 cents per mile, even though the federal rate had been reduced to 55 cents as of January 2009. The result: excess payments of roughly $136,000.

Census regional offices that had mileage costs exceeding their planned budgets included Atlanta, Charlotte, N.C., Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City and Seattle.

The Super Bowl advertising — which included a 30-second spot in the third quarter, two 30-second pregame spots and on-air mentions — was panned by media critics as weak and ineffective, and it was criticized as wasteful by Republicans including Sen. John McCain of Arizona. But the inspector generals report said the advertising was consistent with government goals of boosting participation in the count.

So.....another totally efficient government run program.....are you surprised????

Democrats Push HR 4530, a Radical Safe Schools Czar’s Dream Come True

They managed to triple the national debt in a year and watched the unemployment rate jump to double digits. But you haven’t seen anything yet. The democrats in Congress are moving closer to passing the most radical anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-family bill through Congress that we have seen in decades.

HR4530 is a radical Safe Schools Czar’s dream come true.

Forget reading, writing and arithmatic, Democrats have more important subjects in mind for your child. Democrats are working to push HR 4530 through Congress. This bill will force educators to prohibit harassment, violence and discrimination faced by students based on their sexual orientation. That doesn’t sound so bad, but that’s not all it does.

The bill will also allows educators and education officials like Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings to push their radical agenda in the classroom. And, if you don’t like the new policies or object to the program, the bill authorizes the federal government to cut off the educational assistance to schools that fail to enforce the new rules. Critics of the bill understand the law would give the controversial Safe Schools Czar, Kevin Jennings, almost unlimited authority to mandate sexual indoctrination in public schools at taxpayer expense. It won’t matter what your child is taught at home, this bill will allow radical educators to push their agenda in public schools despite your possible concerns.

U.S. Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) introduced HR 4530 School Non-Discrimination Act of 2010 late last month to prohibit harassment, violence and discrimination faced by students based on their sexual orientation. The bill “prohibits public school students from being excluded from participating in, or subject to discrimination under, any federally-assisted educational program on the basis of their actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity or that of their associates.” The law considers perceived harassment to be a form of discrimination. The bill authorizes federal departments and agencies to enforce these new rules by cutting off the educational assistance of recipients found to be violating them. It allows an aggrieved individual to assert a violation of this Act in a judicial proceeding and recover reasonable attorney’s fees should they prevail. 65 democrats signed on to this bill. The bill was referred to the House Committee on Education and Labor on January 27, 2010.

According to Metro Weekly:

The bill would require that no student in public schools be “excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance” based on the student’s sexual orientation or gender identity. The bill also would prohibit harassment based on either characteristic.

It sounds innocent enough until you look at its real intent.

The purpose of this bill is not what is being stated, but is quite simply to mandate in public schools one acceptable viewpoint on the issue of homosexuality, using purported violence or harassment as the rationale, and the power of the feds as the hammer. The goal is to silence those who may warn about or object to student expression of homosexuality or gender confusion… The federal governmental intrusion and sweeping new unregulated powers in what are local and state matters are proposed in this bill. Enforcement will primarily be through federal agencies, which will craft new regulations to back up this bill’s provisions with the President’s approval. Can you spell “czar”?

In other words, if you oppose radical sexual material detailing sex between first graders or promoting S&M but the Safe Schools Czar or some other official believes it is appropriate- tough. If you disagree with books romanticizing child rape or books with pictures of men having sex- tough. If you oppose weekend student-teacher seminars with fisting lectures and gay bar guides- tough. If government officials want to promote this in your child’s classroom then you’ll just have to get used to it.

No one wants to see a child picked on, harrassed or ridiculed, but this bill takes government control to a whole new level. It is a radical’s dream come true. This bill is a direct assault on our nation’s moral fabric.
